I am so glad to come across this video. I am from Nigeria and I was given a pfaff 260 machine as a gift. Please mine has foot threadle mechanism. I need help to assemble the leather belt that acts as a pulley.
My 1955 model knob in the middle is set up different it does the same thing but it goes from 43210..and that's the knob that will on this one go back and forth depending on where the cam stack tells it to go

The thread isn't supposed to run over the door it's supposed to go from the post and then to the one thread guide, yeah it will work either way but this way is right and it won't be in the way when you open the door.. right above the front number five dial and then to the thing on the end down to the tension because you can open the door that way
I have my machine for the past forty years. I enjoyed using it a great deal. At present the thread is bulking under the fabric i'm not sure what to do. Can you assist in anyway? Thanks in advance.

I tried fixing it. since it's a very old model unable to get a new one or replace it or repair it. Sir if you could help me out would be of great help to me and I will be able to use the machine. I am from Mumbai India. If you could help me with some links where I can get some help. Thanks a lot.
@@jiolenovojio5333 for it to do the other stitches, you have to adjust the lever up to 1... If you notice, it has numbers 1,3,5,7,0... Make sure you put it in number 1..

Yeah sure it can be used manually, although it could be a little hard using it while the motor belt is connected, I did a video here on how to remove the inner motor belt on Pfaff model 260. You can watch it, and when the belt is removed, it's easier

The Pfaff machine uses a low shank foot, so you can use any of such zipper foot from another machine for it... Either the left or right sided zipper foot or the adjustable zipper foot should work for it

A este le puedes activar los subtítulos automático y funcionan muy bien

Check the top tension and also the shuttle tension..but it's most likely caused by the shuttle tension.. You can increase it

You should try oiling it...use standard sewing machine oil

How do you mean? Is it the sewing that's loose or the bobbin thread in the shuttle
