Not all fire/smoke and Carbon Monoxide are suitable for motorhomes. I found many of them don't work at lower temperatures during wintertime. I have a video on my channel somewhere. Ps the contant flashing lights from them can keep you awake at night. George
I think a lot of videos talk about ‘must haves’ in a different sense. I believe these are essential items. The 5 in 1 I mention is now on offer and I think I will buy as it’s a good one to have easy access to in the glove box
Hi mate, I’m just a bit concerned your carbon monoxide detector is to high. Carbon monoxide is heavier than O2 the best place is anchor hight so if you are getting a build up your warned before you felling the effects. Paper maps done need loading it’s a great piece of mind.
Waze etc are allowed in France as they alert to 'accident blackspots' rather than specific speed camera locations - which is how they get round the restrictions..
I have had my van for 2 years and have never given the fire extinguisher a thought. Ordered one. Hero sir 👍
Oh dear. But at least you didn’t need one in that time 😁
Fantastic help. My first rodeo will be this weekend 1300 mile round trip and some of these were very helpful. Thank you
Glad it helped. Enjoy your trip 👍🏼

I’ve always found it odd that I’ve never seen a fire extinguisher mentioned in must haves for van life. Im happy you included it

I keep looking at these and haven’t taken the plunge yet. A good idea 👍
Good video mate. Got all these in my van but have met people that dont.
It’s surprising many don’t. They all cost very little in the scheme of things
fire blanket would be useful for cooking aswell...
Absolutely 👍 One I missed out 🤦🏼♂️
Smoke alarm should be on a horizontal surface. I.e, the ceiling?
Alarms can be installed on walls (check the instructions) However a lot are now fitted on the poptop, therefore horizontal
great vid!
Thank you
Love the roof with integrated speakers mate 👍👍 where did you get that??
Plyworx a company in Bodmin. It’s really good

You are correct. They aren’t actually fitted there, I was just demonstrating you need them. Although that is generally where converters fit them
Frigging awesome advice, you could have saved a life, thanks
It’s the simple things that are often overlooked 👍

I noticed that with a Garmin unit I had. Very clever
If you wear glasses you must have a second pair in France.
Very true, along with a couple of other countries 👍🏼
Very informative, vehicle documentation does that only apply to nonEU countries ? regards from Ireland
Jump leads.
That’s a very good shout 👍
Please remember that there are 2 types of co detector, make sure you get one that’s mobile vehicle compatible, yes I’m a gas engineer lol
