You are taking really good care of the baby llama and I am proud of you for that. Once you sell the other goats things will not be so hectic at feeding time LOL. Love you guys I hope the puppies are doing well too. God bless you and until next time take care
I love all your videos, doesn’t bother me if you put them up immediately or a week later, I love that you take the time to share and update us on what’s happening around your homestead. Beautiful way to start the new year with new life! Bless you all. ❤❤
It helps if u buy bulk mulch and put in the muddy spots. After a few dump trucks it Eventually builds up plenty. It really helps in the high traffic places. Just a thought. Love watching ur family thanku for doing what u do. 🐾❤️🐾
The drought sure did a number on the pastures. Those who've not lived it don't understand. Under the circumstances you are doing an amazing job with your farm! My prayer is God continues to Bless you and your family and Farm and every living thing in it. Be Blessed!
Little cria is so pretty. Nice her and her mommy has a warm place for the night and fresh good hay. So many goats eagerly waiting for food. If only they could be separated someway before feeding time to make handing out the food easier on you. Takes time to get all your plans built and things organized. But, you’re doing great with what you have right now. ♥️
Hi Brandon glad the puppies and mumma are in a tote hope that’s straw rather than hay as it keeps Them dryer and better insulated especially with the wet and cold weather coming. They are beautiful so is princess Layla. Stay warm and dry take care God bless you all. 🙏💕
Oh heck that’s a nice looking bag at the Bermuda grass common. Too bad Stefanie wasn’t an artsy crafty kind a girl that bag can be converted over into a shopping bag. Oh it’s so simple. Oh my goodness if that’s the hell they’re going to sell that I I’d love a couple of them big bags. I’m actually taking my chicken feed bags and converted them into a shopping bag you bring it in you wash it You cut it it put some web straps on the bag and it’s perfect to use over as a grocery bag. The pattern is so simple you just it’s just a very simple straight cut sewing.😂😂😂😂❤❤
Brandon, keep doing the best you can! Reminder to others! If he puts shavings or straw down it will only get packed into the ground and be a breeding ground for parasites and it will not help for very long. It will smell like hog poo poo and that will not be a healthy environment. No one can control the rain. They are in process of building more areas to Seperate some.❤ Give them a hand if you want!
I enjoy your videos. You really have patience with the animals. I think I would go crazy trying to keep up with them. I can’t wait for your house to get built! It will be the perfect homestead!
I really like watching you guys every day interacting with your animals. Have you ever thought of blowing all the dry leaves all the dry leaves in the goat pens .
Another great video love yall 💖 💖💖💖 Happyhappy NewYear too yall baby Llama she precious and cutie socks and baby look healthy have a wonderful week take care God bless yall
Love your videos and enjoy watching them. May the lord bless and protect you and your family and the animals. The lord will guide you and Stephanie and be at your side always. Happy New Year
Have all the older hay in the old water big container is a good way to store the older hay for the mud and bedding section and it will help out on bringing the grass back up
Alpacas are meant for cold weather. They are from the mountain area of Peru. They can tolerate the cold , rain, & snow. When the baby gets bigger it will be fine to be out in the weather.
I would get wood shavings and put them down so it won't be so muddy. Rot hoof and thrush is hard to cure. If your turkey has brunble foot put it in a dry area put honey on its feet wrap them real good so they won't come off that should heal. Honey has some healthy in it. Such hard pains taking and timely job running a farm. Y'all are doing a great job
Thank you, as always, for sharing your thinking ahead as well as the every day, I for one feel honoured that you share that with all of us. I did wonder if anyone supplies straw where you are? It would be much cheaper than hay for the mud issue - maybe spread out a couple of bales of straw on the mud, whenever you change the position , and put the actual hay bale on top of that so they can get at it without trampling it in the mud so much? It would change their walking routes, too & give some of the mud a rest!
Have you considered moving the animals over across the road so the area they are in now can start growing grass again and their paddocks won’t be as muddy as they are now. Maybe it would take lots of material I don’t know not sure what you are talking about using to make different pens! JMO
Fowler family farm has a pretty good metal hay feeder for his goats. Something like that should work, you might be able to build a wood one similiar to it.
Find a guy with a grader who knows his stuff. He can make that area drain itself or you can move the pens to higher ground. Just adding porous materials that will just decay will only be short term solutions. Water will ALWAYS flow downhill and will do so under any topdressing.
I know there may not be anything you can do, but the animals that are constantly on mud and standing water can get hoof rot, and thrush. The only reason I am saying anything is because I see all the mud in your pens. Please see if you can shavings or move them off the mud. I know it is none of my business, and the animals are yours, but I am concerned about all animals.
Try throwing a bit of gravel in the really muddy spots to firm up the dirt some and add some straw on top. Should make footing for the animals a bit better in wet weather comes in winter. Less slip &slidey for humans too. ❤❤ God bless
Lama barn and new enclosure looks great! Think they love it !! is a a

You want to keep them from slipping in the mud, so they won't break their legs.😊
Love the baby lama, Hope you all had a great New Year's Day. God Bless Y'all.
Nice to see the guineas out and about. Leila is one beautiful llama.
Hi Brandon glad the puppies and mumma are in a tote hope that’s straw rather than hay as it keeps

Leighton named the baby Llama Princess Layla 😊
Goats jumping out is exactly why we put ours behind a 5ft woven wire with a hot wire on top. Babies look great.

Princess Leia is a beautiful Cria. I absolutely love her markings. Isn’t she classified as an Appaloosa?
I love to hear them hum, as they are talking to each other❤ that stuff is rich, may upset her stomach if she eats too much!
You should like st the welping box Kevin at Hidden Heights Farm made for Cora his guardian dog. Puppies will not survive outside in the cold.

Yeah, luckily we don’t get rain 24 seven it’s just every now and then

@@Og-Judybut these are temporary pens, and gravel will be a pain when it comes to mowing this area later on in the year...
@@Angharadz2they don’t mow inside the pen areas which is where the animals are.
@@EddyFamilyFarmit's more muddy than not.
You should name her Stamp. It looks like you put an Eddy family farm stamp right between her eyes. So cute!!
Baby is so cute!
