Same. I first saw them in Chicago in 2011. I took my 14 yo son to this show and he loved it.
I was there as well, with my dad, first time seeing them live… such a great show!!

DID YOU KNOW: I was row 6 aisle seat for this show and Adam broke his low E string at the top of his FI solo! That's why u hear a little hiccup at the start of it! He just bent the string out of the way and kept playing! Badass Adam!
You can totally hear it too. It's awesome hearing him (pretty successfully imo) improvising the solo without the droning low D that's played on the record
What timestamp? That's crazy! The fact that Adam brushed it off and continued to jam speaks highly of how frickin talented that man is.
Theres footage of that happening to him in I think Jambi years ago and a guitar tech comes out on stage and helps restring him in seconds, Adam tunes it and gets straight back into it with only a handful of bars not played instead the last played chord lingers. That's worth the search, some real talent by Adam and guitar tech!
He really lost his rhythm at the end of that track. This is what happens with complexity, when one of them looses time it can go pretty pear shaped

Great recording... love to hear they still have fun und creativity. Nice adding vocals in descending and I love the extending guitar solo in Jambi. Hope they will use this flow for a new album 🤘
Not currently listening to it on my stereo so I may change my mind, its nice but the drums are sitting hack in the mix a little too much for me to call it the best I've heard...compression a factor? There's clearer files on yt than this although I'm loving hearing this for the first time!

Cool AF and TY. Only difference between this set and one I saw on Jan 27 is they swapped out Intolerance for Sweat(moved Jambi further into the set)and Encored Schism instead of Stinkfist-I AIN’T complaining, but damn I do prefer Schism over Stinkfist NOW. It’s nice how songs either grow on you more as time progresses and/or how their live performances of older songs will evolve and become better than what they originally were.🤘🖖✌️🎸🥁🎤🎸

same thing happened to me- i wanted something to remember it by and watch when im, like at home or w/e but i kept stopping or recording away from the stage lol
I saw Primus last year and just hit video and put it in my pocket so there were no distractions. I enjoyed the show in real time as it should happen (my phone died because my dumb ass didn't have a good charge, but my heart was in the right place!). If I get the chance to see Tool, I'll do the same - with a full batt'ry, of course.
Wouldn't be surprised at an official live recording of this at some point.
This sounds like they on form right from the start, smooth, patient, and jamming freely/creatively, Maynard voice on point and the sound quality seems clean as fk although I'm not on my stereo atm. Thanks heaps for this recording!

Stayed present, best Vegas trip ever.
I went to the second show in Phoenix, I got there about an hour and a half before the opener. I saw the led banners saying no cellphones before or during. I just put my phone away, it was like a 4 hour meditation and I regret nothing. I saw other people on their phones up to the show but I just sat there and waited.

Theres a couple good ones in here, I'm terrible at remembering to save videos so it will only grow as I remember and come across the good ones again. This is pretty nice sound though I'm loving it! Not enjoying the 1minute long adds at full volume and no remote though ! 😅

apparently no one has recorded the full first night.. they've played culling voices, and the crowd was absolutely silent.. when the shiny shards fell from above, everyone was fascinated and there was not even a whisper..
everyone was silent, i did not find any such complete video on youtube. even at other concerts everywhere either the sound quality is not good or some noises..

Sounds like adam broke a string, then got all twisted up on where he was at the end of fear inoculum.
He really lost his way toward the end ah. Once you're gone in a tool song, it's hard to pull out of it and reset. Heard it heaps, he either brings it back or goes further down the wrong path.
