I always get the fresh spring rolls + fresh fruit too, to balance out the heavy fried foods. Love me some martabak 👌 and nasi lemak with beef rendang 🤤
This ancient Javanese drink, which means swelling, is made from very simple ingredients, just rice flour, coconut milk and granulated sugar, but the taste is extraordinary. I once drank it when visiting the special region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. And I think this is where the cendol is the most delicious.
@@syed3247 We can trace it through ancient Javanese manuscripts written by Mpu Triguna in the 12th century from the Kingdom of Kediri, East Java, Indonesia and then the Javanese people migrated so this drink arrived in Malaysia. Linguistically, Cendol belongs to Javanese, there are no Indian words here. I also visited the Indonesian Gastronomy museum first
The saltiness in that drink came frm the dried plums (asam boi) which is one of the things they throw in the big jar other than mints, lemons and lemon grass. I cant recall tasting a salty one but maybe that seller of yours went to town with the plums 😁

The potato and beef item that you had is called "tauhu bergedil" which is fried tofu stuffed with mashed potato and spiced beef :)

Apapun itu seharusnya inilah mencirikan budaya malasia sesungguhnya.
*Kerap Orang asing Bule taruh judul street market Kuala lumpur atau food market Kuala lumpur tapi makanan yang dijual kebanyakan makanan China Tiongkok,, makanan Thailand ,, Turki dan Bangladesh* tapi pembeli yang ramaikan kaum China Tiongkok dan Bangladesh yang penjual ada bahkuteh.
Berpikir apa sebenarnya identitas Malasia.
