Elden Ring pvp: Great Katana Invasions (occult infused)

- I was pleasantly surprised with this weapon. I figured with it being on the slower end and not having any hyperarmor that it would be a miserable experience in invasions, but no this thing is mean af and puts in work. It's got good reach and hits hard especially with the 2 handed sword talisman. Only thing I don't like is that its default ash (overhead stance) doesn't actually true combo the full thing. The first 2 hits are fine but the 3rd one can be rolled out of which is a shame since I was hoping for a new multi-hit attack for proccing bleed. That aside though this was a very fun weapon to invade with and I highly recommend giving it a try.

Wow. Elden Ring is so bad. It lacks the creativity of breath of the wild. Bloodborne is the last good fromsoft game.
Yeah I agree Elden Ring would be so much better if the game was full of nothing but korok turds and glass weapons instead of all the cool stuff it has.

Blood tax is really solid on occult weapons with decently high bleed.
I've been running basically the same build for invasions since the DLC dropped, it's so god damn fun lol

Good fights man. I need to play with the great katana more. I kinda hated it because every other player was using it and it’s like a mini guts with the poke and that 180 spin hit is almost instant. I love to combo spells with my swings. You can probably find some good ones with CapDayne Levi

This one would be a great choice, it's the only great katana that can have it's bleed scale off arcane.
I would like to recommend sword dance. Typically, on a 80 arcane occult infuse GK, the R1 into sword dance combo is enough to proc bleed and one shot opponents, when paired with the 2 handed sword talisman, SOA, and tree talisman of course.

Oh I don't really do anything fancy to make thumbnails. I just gather a bunch of relevant images for the setup and overlay them on the main image lol

Yeah I've had it happen while fighting the solitude knight npc too.

I am using Carian Sovereignty in Great Katana, in my dex/int build, i am really enjoying it
Does it get hyperarmor on the great katana? I know it does for greatswords and other hyperarmor weapons.

If we're being honest, Elden Ring is baby's first open world/fromsoft game. There's no challenge or good lore like Dark.Souls. i can see why it has lower reviews on pc and metacritic users..No offense
