Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

Well, we had a good run.
It was a lot of fun, although I have to say that it was extremely tiring.
As in, we had to play 12 sweaty matches in a row, which takes a lot of energy, I went straight to bed afterwards.
Anyway, congrats Bob and Matteo.
I think after the mines snipe you could focus his energy eco but understandable, also probably get a different kind of weapon earlier, very good early game and weapon snipes but not enough punch to carry on mid to late game.
You guys did awesome. Took it straight to the wire.

Man, that was close. Most of it is definitely due to not having proper strategies discussed before each map.
Also getting too entrenched in a specific tech and not switching it up when they countered it. Good games nonetheless!
You both were still awesome. Remember, you may not win but your build order will be followed by many others. Thank you!
Honestly you deserved to win. Matteo and Bob had major fuckups multiple times. Their struggle began in each round after the foglauncher, yet they didnt build repair stations. They played that really bad and deserved to lose for that imo

I would really like to see more videos featuring the howitzer. It is such a cool weapon.
recently it's been all livestreams, forts is forts but i prefer 30m videos so i can watch them fully and then move onto the next, and he doesn't do mods anymore

The Matteo death in the first match was really smooth. The timing of buzzsaw and Nukes are perfect.

I honestly gotta say I think you have to give props to Matteo, his continued resolve towards victory really seemed to get Bob going on that final strive. If Matteo had accepted that his teammate wanted to give up, the round would have gone very different.
Congratulations to the winers of silghtly turned "Pro League". It was very plesant to watch and i think that this was the best mini series on this chanel! Cant wait for more :D
Surprised no one did the cheese strat in balls that would core swing behind the terrain and become invincible
Because it would expose the core for a few seconds, which could be capitalized by the enemy into at the very least core damage or at worst core kill with a snipe.
Because in the perfect swing, you aren't safe from Matteo's laser sniping skill...
He did in a livestream match SNIPE one of those cores hiding on the backside, despite everything about it being perfect.

I'd love to see this kind of thing, but with more spacing between each game to let players rest, make it less of a marathon

Ohhh, that first match was just horrible. Nukes, buzzsaws, hellish supression. Only thing I can think of which might have worked Is a rocket rush.
So, slight problem, I got so invested in the last game I completely lost track of what was going on, and all I know is that there was a swarm rush and some rather surprising core damage, leading to a game which was simultaneously over before it finished and fighting tooth and nail every second.
Man, I remember watching a ton of your Forts videos two years ago. Decided to dig up your channel to see what's up. Somehow ended up with this two-part BO7 series in correct order and without spoilers. Most exciting esports content I've seen in a looong while! Great players (I think) and passionate casters. Thank you!

That double laser play in the last match was especially fatal because their opponent was spook. Not only was their build eminently vulnerable to countering, but their enemy got to see it coming.
Its 3:30am and i just finished binge watching this whole series. I have work tomorrow.... I regret nothing

The nuke and swarm missile rush is just so incredibly strong right now. I feel like any team that ever goes for it gets an intense advantage, and any win against it either came down to luck or frantically crawling back from the brink. GG to all the participants!

Really exciting tournament. I will say however I think the time limit + core damage is a really anticlimactic mechanic and I think full base kills should be the winning condition

I always wonder why people dont stagger their nukes more when the other team has little to no anti-air. Just a 2-3 seconds between them can cause a huge difference, with the first clearing out the spaced armor for the second to cause more critical damage.
