Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

i wonder if your ai had upgraded its last 2 mines at the 15 min mark if the additional metal income would allow it to fire more often what the outcome would have been
incursus this ridge wallet might be awesome and right now at this moment when I click your link (because I've wanted to get one for a long time).. I see a big banner with a code that has a higher percentage than the code you have. and just because I don't have a lot of money. I was only willing to look at the wallets because it would be a way for me to support the channel. Here here. Definitely was thinking the same. Also thinking if this was a 15min match he would've won just from damaging the core. Honestly thought he was a goner when those mortars started cutting towards his core.
Absolutely well done. Didn't give up and found a way to exploit the AI even when everything was going tits up.

That bottom sniper of the AI only shot the middle floating hard ground for a solid couple of minutes. Still a amazing thing to see working so well. Nicely done.
I think it was bait to make the human think it was messed up because the second it opened the door on the cannon it got slapped.
@@masterhacker7065 I think it was shooting at the gunner, but was misjudging the terrain. When there was a higher priority target (open door) it swapped, then went back to the "exposed" gunner it wasn't detecting the terrain blocking the shot.
@@Dracusmage I think AI sniper is broken, because it is 100% accurate and can swap targets with that 100% accuracy flawlessly. Terrain miscalculation is a small grace in the face of this.
could add hit/miss detection, dont know how hard that would be...
This felt like one of Incursus' old videos where he does team battles but his 3 teammates die so he has to defend against 4 players while his base is falling apart
I remember that video back then he's so good that his enemies literally call him a monster for surviving 10 minutes long from the constant barrage of nukes cannons laser and rocket and kill one in the progress
Is there a reason he doesn't do those anymore? I've stopped watching for a few months

Noha is godlike player when you dont give teammates that he can kill
even then, he's just a godlike player for the other team then
Damn that's one valiant set of AA gunners, their sacrifices to hold the line against incoming fire will be remembered
I thought the AI was gonna win the entire time until probably the last few minutes of the video. Those last few cannon shots where so clutch, I don't think Noha could've last any longer than that.

I've watched your coverage of semi finals and finals comp matches. This thing working two bases against a well oiled and victorious team would be interesting. Especially if the other team sort of had an idea of how to fight this sort of attack but not knowing what it would do with two separate bases and economies. Would also love to see this AI on battleships and other maps you commonly show. Maybe a battleship A.I. video in the near future?
I don't think the ai would work well on battleships, ais are basically near perfectly played build orders, and would not be able to function outside the map they're built for.

Nah, battleships would be just unfair. Even 3 players can have a hard time managing such a big base, but this AI could repair the entire thing, build more weapons, expand its economy and take perfect sniper shots simultaneously the whole time.
Maybe portals would be a good counter
Even though the AI lost, it's insane how much effort a very skilled player needs to put in just to stay alive and win at the same time. Very good video!
dang, seeing the AI fire at the ground with the sniper just physically hurts

wait what, Noah actually did more damage than the AI with all those mortars?
The metal. Also, not sure how the total is calculated or added up. If things dropping is credited then its definitely gotta be the fact that he was smashing metal and hit those three top mortars a couple times and squad wiped them lol.
I think it's calculated on damage done to structures, metal has a lot more hitpoints than wood, so you can damage it more. Noah didn't really have anything to get damaged other than weapons and mostly wood. Ai on the other hand had metal and noah did dig through some of it with his cannon. I think that's why.

Most of the mortars got defended. They were a lot, but compared to the cannons, they did rather low damage.
I think mortar shells have hp so that might also be counted

There is a very short list of things it can't burn, most of them are fully oxidised fluoride compounds tho
isn't teflon one of the things it can't burn? i can't remember if it was this or some other equally exceedingly dangerous chemical that can only be stored in steel drums with the interior coated in teflon

That red beam right next to Noha's core had me worried his base was going to collapse around him.
We are literally watching a human learn.
Recently, scientists got a bunch of human brain cells together in a dish as a neural net and taught it to play Pong. It took the cells about 5 minutes to learn to play Pong, vs 90 minutes for a computer created neural net.
What Noah is doing is extraordinary. He's trying new tactics. He's evaluating what's working and what isn't. He's abandoning that which doesn't work. He's reinforcing that which does.
The human mind is incredible.
Noha man, that had to be stressful. I was on edge on those 2% and when ya hit and it dropped to 1% I shouted "You gotta be kidding me".

JESUS this has been an intense match. it just looks like everything is falling apart, the enemy just needs a small mistake to finish him off, but he slowly grinds down the core anyways and ends up winning. i love this
Honestly, if the AI had one more layer of armour over it's core, it would have easily won the match.
I wonder if the AI was balanced so it 'could' be beaten... if you are very very good. Amazing that this AI can be made to be better than anything.
@@randeep6346 probaly not , but most games ai arent well made to acount for human error and to incrise dificultity they just add more life and damage to enemies
I like how he put all that work into the su to only forget about splash damage. Just two more struts of wood in front and the ai would be close ti perfect.
Damn I never thought I would be invested in a Match this hard without even playing the game myself!

Amazing performance on both sides, but am i the only one buggered by how the ai was spending all the metal on even more energy production, instead of getting a little bit of extra metal in front of it's core? Some slight twicks and this AI can actually be insane.
The ai is only an automated base constructor following a blueprint recorded by incursus, it can't do anything else. Build according to plan, shot as often as possible and as precisely as inhumanly possible, that's it.
This is exactly what I was looking for this morning thank you. Forts time!!!

Where do you get that kind of time? I hardly have a chance to watch the 4hr livestreams I watch regularly that happen on Sundays.

WOOOOOO MORE FORTS CONTENT. I recently bought the game cause steam put a good sale on it and I’ve learned even more how difficult it is to build as fast as the pros do and how accurate they are at sniping. Loving any and all forts content.

I find it funny how the AI's core at 0% hp just completely refused to explode until Noha shot a second cannon shell at it. 23:14
This match is an example of human perseverance and skill against the constant firepower of the AI. Even if humans lack the pin-point accuracy or lightspeed working power, we all have one thing that any machine or AI can't ever possess... *_DETERMINATION_*
