When I was a child, I looked at the shell of buildings from the inside and wondered how the residents would set themselves up. To this day I roam through residential areas and look at houses. I love architecture, interior design, history... and beauty. Thank you for your lovely, inspiring book reviews.

Loved This Video! I love the combination of the chunky unvarnished wood mixed with elegant and clean lined furniture pieces! It is natural, aged, yet fresh & new! I love the historic neighborhood! I would like to add this book to my collection as I love the basic neutral color palette best! It's easier to work with: simple changes can make the biggest difference, and easier for me to live with! Thank You!

I am from Puerto Rico. Lived in central Louisiana, Alexandria..Beautiful southern homes also at Natchville ..where the magnolia movie was film..I love like AUTHOR of the book, imagine the stories of old homes. Some owner left book of the stories of their property, a lot sad stories of slavery
Time...but the real stories are word of mouth... It's amazing how other gen eration had many more struggles that my generation..Blessings for channel..that brings peace and love from many homes..Amen

Lovely review... though this color palette is not for me, this is a Beautiful book with delightful details that tantalize the charm this designer has to offer her clients. My absolute Favorite, is the tour of Magnificent Statley Homes at the end of this book review...BE STILL MY HEART, pretty much sums up my thoughts on these!!!
