I've been playing bash since launch, made it to around 110 pit then hit a roadblock killing the end boss.. Swapped out inner calm aspect for acceleration for the 25% as for the 4 hits to prime up moonrise faster, therefore ramping up for CD windows much more efficiently.. Also your bash stacks will bank until you use it so really no need to track it at all. Cool content mate, gg
Yeah there’s a couple things I experimented with swapping inner calm out for cause I’m not a huge fan of the standing still variable. But when using the training dummy and experimenting nothing beats the dps that you can get from inner calm unfortunately
@@Hollowdub in pits 115+ i find the only time i stand for 3 seconds to get the most out of inner calm was during stagger.. It's become a fraction easier since the patch, but when you consider that inner has almost zero practicality on the dungeon clear part of the run, i really believe i'll only go back to it when i het another push wall and need the single target again

You’re better off with aspect of retribution since most builds got enough points in concussion for 100% stun uptime, especially if you’re not worried about single target damage.
Made an alt Barbarian and have been spending so much time... I luckily landed 3GA paingorgers (Spd, CSC, Basic dmg, 180% secondary - on Diablo Trade RN) the other day and spent more time pushing him now, but watching this I realize how skewed my rotation was. Ty so much!

Just level up my barb and started doing pit 100 with hota bash. Trash is getting down easily with paingorger chains combo, but I struggled with low boss damage. I hope I learned the rotation to kill boss faster. Im just compelling with heartseeker rogue. Rogue caltrops is making boss die in one stagger and it staggers in 10 sec or someting like that. My barb is not that minmaxed as rogue but I just want them to clear pit 101 as fast as possible. Thanks for this guide.
Oh my god, I did it all wrong the whole time. So you are telling me, that chains maintain berserking at the end, for some reason I thought thats the most important thing to do, to held the enemy vulnerable but its just a small piece: 1. Bash -> 4 Times Buff 2. HoTa 3. Warcry 4. Chains 5. HoTa (when 4 times buff hopefully there before the green bar runs out) 6. Warcry 7. Chains and so on?
This feels great and all when standing there showcasing against a stationary single target dummy. Doesn’t feel as smooth when fighting against a boss that frequently goes invisible while attempting to dodge an arsenal of attacks from multiple shadow bosses. Or even attempting to run into a pack in order to hota before using steel grasp to cc.

With the non bleed (first example shown) Why wouldnt you want to do the war cry before the Hota too? If its going to increase the damage. (And for bleeding variant) If Hota to get 30% bonus, then chains to apply vulnerable damage bonus, and then continue bashing is the biggest damage order..Why not just follow that consistently? Adding war cry before hota whenever able.
If u press Hota randomly and u focus on only the buff bar above it, it is missleading since 2 skill modifieres have a 5 second duration, only way to make sure u get the 30%x damage is looking at your sheet damage or find the blue(overpower) number when hitting. seeing the buffbar DOES NOT MEAN u have hota 30x% multiplyer. other then this the video was great
its not my intention to mislead here, there is literally no way in-game to detect that bash buff on your buff bar, so that green timer on HOTA is the only way to generally guess the window of time that has passed since your last hota 4 bash combo. It absolutely does not mean you have the x30, but its the best we've got until we get some updates.
@@barricadettv my tactic on that matter is look for blue/orange numbers what indicate a OP-Hit, thus u have the 30x damage multiplier. the bar doenst mean anything in that case. I just wanted to clarify that, its a "little" detail what unfortunatly matters a lot. I wish for a customizable buff bar. why we ned to see 2x potion and 3x incense to fillup 5/8 of buffbar with nonsense
Awesome video... only lacking 1 section... What stats to prioritise to climbe to that amount of dmg... So yes berserking at 300% first Then try and get 4k crit dmg .... I got 4k crit and 305% berserk VS you at 4500% cit and 300berserg Vulnerable at 355 Vs 407 you. Grandfather, hota bleed bash, harlequin, pain gorger ... well pretty much what you have. 84k life VS you at 112k... think there is a synergy for more hp but unsure. ....... Now we are close to you but our DPS if so off by alot... 40 to 50mil bleed and about 7mil crit on dummy with this rotation. More crit chance & attack speed = faster warcray and hota stack but will not get me more DPS. This video is awesome but there's a tiny thing missing. Thanks alot
After digging, heavy handed would be an issue as it scales by 5%(x) for every level it is... so 3= 15% but 7 would be 35% and so on for the 2hander... that would explain.
1/2 of the time my HOTA does not register as an overpower, (yes looking at the buff bar not skill bar). When it does my damage predictably skyrockets, but its super frustrating when the hit does not register.
ummm the reason you get the damage is Bash +7, a greater affix pants with bash +4 is the most difficult gear piece to find, i have all ubers zero +4 bash

How do you Hota then chains so fast? When I do it there is a gap in between hota and chains.
