that’s the idea behind this one anyway! not sure if that’s clear in the final product but yeah!!
i heard the song n thought “hey i could make a rlly sad animatic out of this..” i was gonna use a yellowish color scheme bc those r the vibes i got from the song, but it kept turning out too happy looking or too similar to my ravens animatic so i went with this n i’m pretty happy with it :D
uh i don’t have much else to say abt this one either whoops! i am full of inspiration for ocs and i maaaaaaaay be making a webcomic w them sometime........ meaning balancing that with regular animatics will b hard............. but we’ll see!! life’s been going well, been very inspired :-]

I am back again because i've been coming back everyday to this piece to watch it all over again as a treat because this animatic IS such a treat. I mean, the song is one thing, but the way you timed the shots and drew them, just. UGH.
0:51 - 1:10 for example. the look of fond remembrance on his face, when you decided to hold this frame until the line "to then" played, the TIMING. It felt like a tiny punch to the gut (a good, emotional punch)
And 2:59, the back shot, him being small in the frame with all this space around him. It feels like a farewell, something sentimental, maybe a little like letting go (i could be wrong, but boy did i feel something)
This definitely deserves more likes. This and the "What Will You Leave Behind" animatic. You really excel in wistful/pensive/sentimental storytelling, I love this so, so much.
