- a tommy-centered animatic because he’s very very poggers to me!! :]
this animatic took longer than it should’ve and i’m kind of disappointed in myself but that’s ok! i had an absolute art style crisis while drawing this because i just have not been happy with my art recently. i tried to still stay consistent with my art style throughout this but if you see changes in the future that’s why! i hope you like this regardless of what i felt during it hghgjgk. i am happy with the result though :]
there were some parts in this where i had the incredible urge to include tomrey because i hecking love tomrey, but i didn’t because i wanted the focus to stay on just tommy. i did however include an incredibly small unrecognizable hint of it at 0:45 during the marriage n charms lyric where tommy’s eyes have a bit of the yellow from benrey’s eyes in the snow animatic. a lil treat for those that read the description i guess bc there’s no way you’d be able to tell that otherwise!

The way I see Tommys lore from what we get to know from the series is that Tommy is a genius orphan who made his own dog in order to create some sort of family for himself and later start working at black mesa, either becuase he actually is 37 years old like he says and he just has this childish auora or becuase he's a genius kid who manage to forge his credentials. His story has an happy ending when he gets adopted by the supernatural G-man who truly cares for Tommy and tries his best to gvie him a good life.
