- Опубліковано 15 лис 2019
- A year and a half ago I quit my job to do Uber Eats full time and recently started using DoorDash simultaneously and have had great results making 1k-1.5k per week (3 times what I was previously making). Aside from money I talk about 10 reasons why I jumped ship from a traditional 9-5 job to Independent Contract Work aka UberEats and DoorDash bike deliveries. Subscribe for more videos like this!

Thank you so much for your video! I’m ready to quit my soul sucking 9-5 job. Thanks for the boost.
if the job is sucking ya soul, quit. take a risk. dont ever let anyone convince you a paycheck is worth more than your well being. hope it works out for you and if you have questions hit me up
@@wilcer so true I did quit my job as well
@@wilcer Los Angeles is hot as hell in the Summer I was in San Francisco I wouldn't go back cause it's dirty but LA is better but it's for rich folks. I was living in Chicago and Detroit isn't very different that's where I'm moving
@@wilcer I will tell u I am from Louisiana but I like Beverly Hills it's nice
Being independent is one of the steps to Freedom, 9-5 is not for everyone, I would rather pay for my own healthy insurance, taking the risk is worth it otherwise you will always wonder what would have been
Freedom is huge! You said it bro!
I have a corporate job and completely agree with everything you said.
the best thing about food delivery is that you work out and get paid at the same time. I’m considering doing this
The "coworker" part is so accurate. 👍
I like the fact that you get exercise to work.
I worked for UPS for 6 years got fired. And started doing food delivery’s. So I definitely feel more freedom!
It's not easy dealing with bosses. That's why I lost my job with Amazon. I like being my own boss. That's just me. Of course u pay it back at the end of the yr
Thank you for the motivation! I’ve been so hesitant to become a FT delivery driver. But watching your videos is reassuring me that it will be the best choice for me to get that💰
I love Independent Contractor jobs u literally are your own Boss and u don't have to deal with layoffs so much. The way businesses are today I hate 9-5 jobs not only that u make your own schedule
Me too!
@@wilcer I could meet u brother all I'm trying to do is better my life. I have gone through problems with managers I'm an introvert. I prefer working with a small group of people. I'm glad I learned about independent contracting
@@wilcer not gonna lie it's a great job I'm trying to get use to the 1099 T. But I like being independent what becomes difficult is how fast they send u orders. I was let go from Door Dash I'm still with Uber Eats. I want to go back to college.
Thank you WILCER u the man
You I see you are on your way to West Hollywood/Beverly Hills that is my GOLD area! Imma beast out there good luck! It's great tips!
A NEW RIDE!! LOOKS GOOD, WILLIAM!!
Nice video man! THANKS!
Wilcer I heard that " getting to explore your tittie I mean your city "lol You did a great fix up there.
Hilarious 😂😂😂
Freedom is everything !!
Exciting!
Awesome video man. Just subscribed and liked. Im thinking about doing this so i wanted to see some info on it and I found ur channel. Thanks man :) keep up the great, hard work. Stay safe.
Just started doing this, you inspire me alot Wilcer thank you man!
Congratulations bro. I am about to start on Monday' what advice would you give me on starting
@@peterahamefula3429 Dont rush, not worth your health and safety. Keep your own pace, never tie a sweater to your front handle bars, and wear a helmet. Can save you from a 15 minute seizure and waking up in the hospital with a fractured skull and not being able to hear out of one ear for months, along with chronic pain and PSTD to this day. Stay safe and have fun =)
@patrickbedruz6475 thank man I appreciate that. Stay safe as well
Wilcer I freiken love this and live life. I'm doing this on my kick scooter. Yeah man.
Wilcer, you and I are sporting new bikes this week. I just started using a Vilano which was given to me. I was using a mountain bike and the Vilano is much smoother.
9:14 Oh snaps... It's the Robotech / Macross building! 🤯👍
thank you!
You're welcome!
I really hope this opportunity lasts for a long time and stays profitable. I've been working food delivery apps for 3 years now and absolutely love it. Was miserable at every job I've had except this one. Really don't wanna have to do anything else in the next few years.
I've been retired 7 years now and I love the freedom I have now, I can ride my Yamaha 125 anywhere any time and I don't have to earn money. I don't spend much so I don't need much money
Those are all great reasons to have quit your full time job to work for yourself.
Have you ever thought about getting a Crust Clydesdale cargo fork to carry more orders?
Also about pay... instantly ...with UBER card no fee, cvs atms = no fees... what you make is what you get to the penny!
Whats a uber card
Right, the solitude 😎
That’s a sweet bike
I use to work in a restaurant as a chef salary not much also. Too much stress and work so I left. Now doing food delivery and you have so much freedom and the earnings are almost the same as my last salary. If you put in more time you can even make more than your previous salary
I do uber eats delivery in Japan for almost the same reason as you
hey bro, do they tip in japan? how much do you make a week on average
@@silvrsurfer I do also delivering in Japan, they rarely tip, but you can make as much as a normal job here and more, specially if you have electric bike.
@@pririfam1581 thanks for replying man. Can you give me an approximate for your weekly earnings? Would you be able to solely live off of your delivery income? Sorry, I'm very curious haha
@@silvrsurfer You can make as much as you are willing to work everyday, some people make from 30 to 50k per week to up to 150k per week for very lo g hours and multi app with motorbike and good location
@@pririfam1581 these numbers are actually I sane. I barely make 200$ on a good day doing 10hr shifts.
Edit: (Ottawa - Canada)
Yes on 22
Listen everyone, dont go quitting your day job if you're going to single app or if you're broke and cant keep up the bills. You do this gig job for extra earnings. If you're finances are in order and having a varyin income is fine, then you can do this gig full time.
But dont expect it to be sunshine and rainbows all the time. You're gonna be tired, annoyed, and treated like shit by customers and resteraunts. You have to have self motivation. If you want a quick buck, just do it casually not full time. If you're serious, you nee to be willing to work 40+hrs a week rain or heat. Cant be taking weeks off at a time cause the weather is not your suit.
6:50 you made me choke on my drink hahah
Lmao i forgot about this
Can you do an update on how things are going? Did you upgrade your bike . What are your thoughts on a moped bike or electric scooter? I'm thinking of getting an electric bike so I don't have to ruin my car mileage
Yes i will do a video soon!
I’m scared to try , I live in NYC and I hear the pay out is lower
Has the new paycut hit you on uber yet?
I'm not bragging but Independent Contracting is good to me. I would say Amazon sucks but the pay is good. If I work Door Dash or Grubhub I will have a good pay day.
Hey what gears do u ride ur bike on?
6:50 lol
😂 broke out laughing
I like that bike, those are my colors
Facts
You are right about that man. I cant wait to finish pay off my car than i will just focus on. Grubhub uber eats and doordash like you man
Hey bro great videos! Question, how many hours do you work per day tho??? I think I can make the same amount (or more) working with Postmates like my regular 9-5. But I’m nervous I will have to haul ass from breakfast time 7am to dinner at 9ish. And maybe have to add more hours because it was a slow day! Is that the case with you? I hope not!
And no job interview baby!
How much do you bring in a week and how many days and hours do you work
You gonna be out there today?
You have freedom. My girlfriend is telling me what to do all the time. Sucks.
Ain't you the boss?? Tell that woman to get a job and help the house out!!
A man should always lead
AMEN 💯💯💯💯☄️☄️☄️☄️
Working for yourself is freedom but most people work for companies for the medical insurance. M4A!
Are you still doing food deliverys fulltime?
Hey bro question I’m from LA what delivery app do you recommend this would be my first time trying it. I do Uber but my car is getting fixed and I need money ASAP
Uber eats for sure man. Then when you get have time do doordash and Uber Eats at the same time
WILCER is there a specific way to sign up for bike deliveries on Uber cause I have it for my car but it doesn’t give me a option for cycling. And thanks for the quick reply.
🤙🚲
How long does it take you for you to make good money when first starting out ?
I made about 100 for 2 hours of biking my first night, i would have made more but i'm waiting for my backpack and phone mount as it's a bit difficult to bike while holding the bag for safety reasons.
@@Soldiershak Can you still make that much?
6:50 😂
What kind of bike is that ?
Respect the grind. Two major downsides to riding a bike is the pollution in LA you’re breathing as the cars drive by, and the lack of a bathroom.
10:32 Preach, preach.... Every job has it's haterz and unhappy people who's only goal in life is to throw you under the bus. 🙏🚍
Where is the pine air freshener dude ?
These are the early days
Are you under Uber/door dash or your very own business?
“Explore your titty I mean city” LMAO
is working at tmobile hard?
No, it's just stressful to hit quotas, dealing with extreme micro management, and if course entitled customers.
You don't make a lot of money doing it as full time job. When you have a different job that's full time, you make way more. This job is more of a side hustle job if you wanna make some change. I would never quit my job to do this full time.
I make $1000 a week easy bro
the man said he's doing just fine
you have a camera on your chest ? what camera ? & how do you have it secured to your body ?
Lol that part about the girls is so true
I'll pass on the eye candy bro fck I'm married lol
Lol all good
I've been crunching numbers and I dont think I can make enough daily than I currently do now :[
Where is your regular bike👍
I broke the hanger lol ill have her fixed by Sunday. This is my roommates 😎🚴♂️😏
WILCER what kind of bike is that ? Looks cool man ! 👌🏽
It's a vintage panasonic bike lol pretty cool. It's got big tires so it's extra smooth on the road
Good video... BUT he's leaving out one important point. You got freedom, don't have anyone telling you what to do... but you also don't have any future with this type of gig work. DD & UE aren't meant to be jobs you work for 20 or 30 years and retire from - HA!!! Do that and you'll end up on LA's Skid Row.
but you can make enough money to set up your own retirement plan , or other streams of income , such as investing , as the gentleman stated .. i'm in my 20s & they predict social security checks and all that won't even exist by the time we're of qualifying age
how many hours do you work on a week where you make $1500 ?
$4 for gas.....dam......plus you're saving so much money on gas and wear and tear on your car
What’s up with the bike?
The thing about full time employment is you don’t have to worry about shit. I was on DD last night and didn’t make shit. I don’t have to worry about that type of shit with a job. I’ll never depend on gig work this is only a side hustle bro! But either way you are working FULL TIME. 🤦♂️😂😂😂😂
U scaring me. U not scared to be riding in the streets ??😧😧😬u can’t even see behind u
He was abused by his girlfriend 🤦🏾♂️
Lol
6:51 😂
