In the summer months, typically between December and February, the weather in that region is indeed sensational. It's bittersweet to witness the effects of climate change on glaciers, but you're right, it's a privilege to appreciate their beauty while we can. Best wishes to you as well!

Awesome video! Would you say it's pretty straightforward hiking from the hut to the glacier? I've read it's unmarked and pretty rocky and steep. Would you say it's still worthwhile to do the whole thing in a day?
I suppose it’s always subjective. It is quite rocky and steep to the glacier but I wouldn’t say it’s dangerous or anything. Doing it in a day would certainly be long and difficult but not impossible, maybe 8-10hrs I would guess..
