I wish they still made this version with this exact same sole. They now have a vibram christy which does not last as long as this. Sure you don’t have to worry about delaminating, but that wasn’t a problem for me. I still *LOVE* this boot.
Rock rooster boots are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned from day one. I don’t have a single thing bad to say about any of their boots. It’s crazy. I don’t think I’ll ever buy redwings again. I think the VIP membership is ridiculous. I don’t know how they are selling boots that cheap!
They run large on my foot too. I normally wear a size 10.5 and in rockrooster I need to get 10s. When I first tried RockRooster after Rose Anvil did a video about them I didn't like them as they caused blisters in my heel. The issue turned out to be they were too big because when I go with 10s I do not get the blisters on my heel. Also as long as they are the correct size I do agree they are comfortable from the start.
Man I need help looking for boots. I've worked outside all my life and I just got a new job in an aluminum shop and I need new boots. It's a lot of walking on concrete and sometimes there's metal shavings. my feet are killing me so something with a lot of padding(?) would be amazing if you can help me find one.
If you are working on concrete all day, I recommend a wedge sole boot. Rock Rooster have some outstandingly comfortable boots out of the box. Do you need a safety toe in the shop?
These boots in the video are legit the AP858 is the steel toe version. You can also check out the AP621. They are a 7in steel toe. I’d recommend Rock Rooster because I’ve never had a most comfortable boot immediately. I’d usually push a Timberland Pro wedge sole boot but I’ve had to break in every single pair I’ve had with them. The Timberland Pro Gridworks are pretty darn good but they needed 3-4 months to get comfortable and they are hot.
100 bucks for boots isn't bad at all. I bought a pair of boots on Amazon. And I paid 208 dollars for them. So I may get a pair of those once I wear these out.

Great video sir I've been looking for some new work boots Mine just arrived they are amazing boots thanks for the recommendation and the discount
Wedge soles are the best all-purpose boots. Good on slick snow pack and wet surface. Very good on hard pack trails.
What do you make of the Rockrooster VIP membership thing? Seems like a very strong move to try and eat a big slice of the American pie?

Same thing just happened to me. Saw the Rose Anvil video and immediately bought a pair in my normal size (10.5) and also needed a 10.
Same
One question do you use a mink oil on yours
great price for the composite toe version too! And the lineman boots are an honest price also.
I just bought myself a pair of the composite toes!
Are these outsoles being discontinued?
I’m not sure
@@TheDurbinCompound customer service confirmed they are.
What is your view/opinion on the width? I note these are medium "E' wide only and so I am worried about cramped toes.
No cramped toes in these. Very common width. The only boot I would be careful on width is a Thorogood Moc Toe. They run small and narrow
I was definitely considering these.
Totally worth it
I might have to pick a pair of these up for work
Stylish too!

You’ll have to compare those boots to the Rock Rooster version of them!
