    You forgot the James river that runs through town, and down to TR.

    Interesting, this is the first time I've heard the Meramec River pronounced like that. I'm from the St. Charles area and have always heard it pronounced like "Mer-a-mac", and people from every float trip place I've been to along that river.

      Agreed. Maybe it’s a St. Louis thing (I grew up there) but I alway heard it pronounced Mare-a-Mack.

    There are dozens and dozens of floats not included in your list. From flat, slow floats to dangerous whitewater. The Saint Francis hosts the state championship whitewater races every spring. The Black River is considered the cleanest river in the state. The whole southern half of Missouri is filled with floatable rivers.
