Just in a few months Sparg0 will over take them both. He has been 3rd in a lot of tournaments and if he can just get to that next step. Then we will see if MkLeo was right. Yet in that tournament Tweek basically gave up at the end. It was like he didn't trust his Diddy Kong. Which is what holds him back. He has to be able to trust his character all the way to the end.

So does Leo winning Riptide and doing so well over the last few years maining Byleth make Byleth carried by Leo, or Byleth being better than the community gave them credit for? Same for Tweek/Ditty honestly.

It's frame 7 OoS, but since the banana has to travel from diddy to wherever the opponent is, it's effectively a frame 8-9 (potentially slower) punish out if shield

I feel like poppt1 was overstating this difference, unless I'm missing something. Is 7 frames out of shield really that slow?
3 frames can make a decent amount of difference. Consider how GnW's fastest OoS option is only 1 frame faster than Z drop, and it's considered pretty strong. Frame 7 is still pretty good, so maybe Poppt forgot that about throwing items. But on the other hand, you also have to consider the possible follow-ups, shield stun, crossing up shield, Leo's options, the spacing, item travel time etc. So it's likely a case of just how important being optimal is in these situations and at this level, where everything can be punished (particularly if Leo notices you doing it once and is ready for the next time).

At this point, if Leo gets a clean victory against Tweek's Diddy with Joker, I would not be surprised If Tweek says it's a losing matchup. He did that with PT and he did the same thing with Wolf after that one set vs Leo's Joker at Frostbite. I've watched that set through guide videos on how to play neutral, etc. I've caught plenty of mistakes that Tweek was making. I don't want to sound like I'm just talking shit but when you catch someone's mistakes and they say that it's a losing matchup whether it really is or not, it doesn't exactly make them look like a really amazing player. Come to think of it, another player did the same thing. Samsora. He swears up and down that Joker is such a bad matchup for Peach, that he even has his own tier in the matchup chart. I've watched the sets between Leo and Samsora. Same thing as Tweek. I'm saying all this because when Tweek picked up Diddy Kong, he once said in one of his videos that he swears that Diddy Kong beats Joker. And who was the Joker player that keeps beating him? I disagree. I think Leo only would’ve won with Byleth. Byleth is definitely Leo’s best character and Leo said himself that people don’t fully understand the matchup, which he can definitely capitalize on
@@ONLY_RR7 Leo said that he would go Joker against Tweek if he beat his Byleth, he also told Dark Wizzy that hes been using a lot of Joker offline. I definatly think he would have won with Joker, especially the way he was playing with Byleth.
It was not the First, Temple (Lille, France) was also a major and it happened a week ago smh
Temple was not of the same caliber as Riptide. There were a handful of pgr players at Temple, but a lot more at Riptide
@@ONLY_RR7 what about Kagaribi 4 that had 17 pgr entrants come to the event. And temple was the same caliber as riptide it had about 900 entrants and it was an international tournament
Riddles can do some crazy things
Can you make a vid on ledge trumps?
I respect Tweek for using Sephiroth, it's really rare seeing people use him in tournament when there were people trying to ban him from tournaments
Since when is there people wanting to ban sephiroth?
He isn't that broken of a character
@@Stone_Raven there were people saying he was sm4sh cloud but better at game awards 2020 when he was revealed
@@Stone_Raven the thing with all of the dlc’s is that from a glance they’re op as hell (40% from seph neutral b) but can’t really be improved from there. (Low skill floor and low ceiling for everyone but kazuya)
@@orizin8102 so people try for 2 weeks then understood he wasn't busted. There's no one currently trying to ban him
I thought it was Poppt1 vs MK leo for a moment :(
What was that weird kiss through the mask at the end. Leo seemed uncomfortable.
when it's 5:53 where you live
You might want to invest in a microphone shield so popping ur ps doesn’t make the mic pop
It's so sad that Leo lost at summit 3!
You personally nerf Diddy Kong when you can react to side B. Perhaps Tweek wasn’t ready for it after monkey flip being so free online.
Byleth out of shield is just so much better than jokers if unless u do footstool to downgun which is super inconsistent
MKLeo = Goku
Tweek = Vegeta
Marss = Jiren
If you can bring multiple characters to the final two you are the better character. Tweet is carried by his character it's just that simple.
13:17 Poppt1 go crazy
Of course Byleth beats Sephiroth. Lances have the advantage over swords in the weapon triangle.
It still boggles me how Diddy Kong... *Diddy Kong!* is one of the most technical characters in the game. Like I get how, just not why.
It’s because monke
When Leo loses just expect him to comeback stronger
20:33 what happened during editing this bruhh
Leo himself.
All and all, congrats to Leo once again taking the tournament over Tweek. And no matter what happens, I can't wait to see his Joker again.
Tweek good,
Mkleo good,
but in our hearts we all know that it is marss!!
Yeah Marss is sooooo good ......... finished in like top 50
Marss is fabulous honestly i don't get how people play ZSS
Marss is obviously the best; he’s just held back by his low-tier main.
He's not bad for a content creator
