Hey, I'm also aiming for Med school in McGill and I have some questions, can we maybe chat or something please? I really need any advice i can get right now...
It varies depending on your citizenship, province of residency, etc... you can consult this website to find out www.mcgill.ca/student-accounts/tuition-charges/fallwinter-term-tuition-and-fees/undergraduate-fees
Generally speaking. Have a good academic record (GPA > 3.7) and demonstrate your ability to be a leader, collaborator, communicator, and a professional. These can be done through extracurricular activities like sports teams, hobbys, music etc... but make sure what you engage in matters to you and you enjoy it. It easy to peform well and work hard when youre personally dedicated to the craft. And it shows to your supervisors etc.. if you have any more questions, you can email me at hedizhao@yahoo.com or find me on instagram @hedizhao.
I'm in 9th grade really want to study in McGill med school I'm not a Canadian or us resident I'm from Bangladesh !any advice ?do they accept international students?
the short answer is yes. McGill accepts international students, but they only make up about 1% of the class. you can find more information here -> www.mcgill.ca/medadmissions/applying/categories/int
Hi, I've heard for stidying in medical in Montreal you have study 4 years in biology or chemistry then you are allowed to take an exame, and basd on your score you can study medical is that wright??? If yes how many year do you have to study( i mean after 4 years)
Yes, you will need four years from an undergraduate degree, however it doesn't need to be in biology/chemistry. You only need to satisfy the course requirements. You will also need to take the MCAT if your undergraduate degree was not from a Canadian university. Medical school is 4 years, then residency can be anywhere from 2-5 years plus another year or 2 of fellowships... It all depends on what you want to specialize in. I hope that answers your question
@@lunna325demsp6 You can do your bachelors at McGill in 3 years only if you went to CEGEP or have enough Advanced placement (AP)/International baccalaureate credits to completely skip first year. This allows you to do just U1-U3. The rest of us do U0-U3, which is like any other bachelors in Canada.
One day I will be also there ..

i was wondering, if you get a medical degree in quebec, are you able to practice in ontario without issue? or is there some other process for this?
yep. you'll be able to practice in any province in Canada. You'll have to go through residency first.

Is MCAT required for McGill University????
It depends. Its required for international and Canadian non-Quebec residents. On the other hand, Quebec residents don't need it.

@@saraalavi5360 no problem. I’d just mention that it’s possible to not write the MCAT as long as you did your undergraduate degree in Canada.
