Great videos and content! I can relate to the back pain, but I had a doctor once tell me you don't mess your back up in your sleep, it was something you did that day. It's the resting period during sleep that gave it time to get inflamed. If you can recognize when it happens (during the day) and then take an advil soon after, you'll be fine the next day, or a lot better off.
When I talked to my doctor later that day, he said it was likely not something I did during my sleep, but could have been something seemingly insignificant that happened in the past few days, that just flared up overnight. I have no idea what it was though.
Love your videos. I’m in the process of starting a covered porch deck build. I’ve learned a lot watching your vids. I’m stuck on where and how to attach the porch post to the deck framing. I haven’t been able to find any detailed stuff online.
Depending on the situation, we use one of two methods. The posts can go into the framing and be through bolted (we use Fasten Master ThruLoks), or the posts can sit in a post base which attaches to the deck surface, and then the post is attached to it. BC40Z for 4x4, BC60Z for 6x6. Google those items and you will see what I'm talking about. Should be able to pick them up at your local hardware store.
@@thebedfords So I can lay the Trex decking down and put one of those post base on top of it and continue the roof from there? Do I need blocking or anything? My deck is 14x20 and I was thinking of using a Glulam beam for the header of the roof.

@@joshleiva5134 I always make sure there’s blocking where you are attaching the post base. Don’t want to be only attaching it to decking.
18:27 Inchworm!!!
I noticed it while editing haha. Had no idea it was there when I was filming. Wondered if anyone else would notice it.
