Totally agreed brother. Hours and hours and hours go into each and every recipe we create. That is exactly why I am so passionate about this and don't really care if a select few are in my comment section saying to stop making these videos and only want me to make recipes. I think when wrongdoing is done, especially with something I am so connected to and live everyday, it is important to call it out.

As usual, I love hearing your insight into the cooking and recipe making process, especially since you actually studied this stuff. As for the Jeremy thing, the more people talk about this situation, the more honoured I am that I was able to work with Boo to tell her story.
aghh, i am so glad that you like them and i love how you can appreciate Boo's dedication and hard work that lead to the recipe! also love the shadeee
One thing I added with the recipe was instant coffee - around 1-2.5 teaspoons depending on brand and make sure that it is really fine or take a bit of the soda and mix it up in it. Makes choco flavor more intense - a lot of recipes can be upgraded by it.
Some advice I wish I knew sooner: crush the parchment paper into a ball and then smooth it out. It’s a million times easier to manipulate it into the pan’s shape.
100% agreed on erythritol. Some folks are totally unbothered by it, but that cooling effect really spoils a food for me, if I can taste it. My approach has been to use a 50/50 blend of eryth with allulose for Boo's stuff and it's turned out great.
I've seen her bring up diet cream soda in a lot of her recent stuff, but I can't find that stuff at all down here.
She also has some variations on the recipe that play around with textures. Folks can look up her Whipped and Miracle Whipped versions for a less fudgy texture. Miracle whipped gets a nice crust/rise, but its mouthfeel starts to get into almost marshmallow territory.
Have been hearing a lot of good things about allulose lately
Diet rootbeer or diet cream soda works amazing with the chocolate. Also use monkfruit and powdered erythritol. Makes its crunchy and gooey.
The way you explained the work that goes into the testing of each recipe reinforced what Greg Doucette said about how much work went into making the simple recipes in his cookbook.

Fantastic video as usual Mina! That point about testing recipes hit home lol. Glad you tried these, still in my opinion one of the best anabolic/volume eating recipes I've ever come across. Also can confirm these are absolute sensational with diet A&W (if you're a root beer fan)
My favorite soda for this is Dr. Pepper Zero
If you want to make a quick single serving, use a ramekin and the airfryer (10 min on 160). Works like a charm!

Definitely came from the sweetener! Same thing happened to me when I made cake with the sugar free boxed cake mix and 1 can of diet coke. The sweetener in the sugar free cake mix is maltitol, which is used as a mild laxative in some medical practices.

I used monk fruit cause I made these on Saturday ironically before all of this blew up. I used monk fruit. Honestly it isn't as crispy on top, but it wasn't even a thought after trying remingtons pumpkin monstrosity (sorry rem) and just tasting something that actually is a brownie. One thing I may try is backing to cocoa down. For me it was too much chocolate. Gonna back it down slow though.. maybe to 45 gr. Let me know how much monk fruit you use. I think I used 50 gr and it might could have used a hair more or the cocoa is too strong

Sprite could indeed be awesome, but i guess a hint of vanilla or cherry would also work great in combination with chocolate (so a vanilla or cherry diet coke).

I like it with sparklng water instead of any type of diet soda. I use turkish 'kizilay soda' to be exact its mineral sparkling water. and because i have ibs i use stevia instead of eryhtrol. it still comes out fine imo. not very crispy but definetely very fudgy!

Sorry for all the comments but since the eurythitol has a cooling effect I wonder how good a mint brownie would be. And I feel like zero sugar dr pepper or zero sugar dr pepper cream soda might be yummy
Use the monk fruit sweetener, I found it at Walmart, it have lil to nun cooling affect. I hate using swerve, the cooling affect is overpowering. The monk fruit is way better imo

I have made a mint and a snickerdoodle version of this with specific protein powders and extracts and it just doesn’t come out tasting super great to be honest. Going all in on the chocolate has reliably made the best brownies for me.

I personally like using diet root beer or diet cream soda best. They work well with the chocolate flavor.

I unsubscribed to Jeremy Ethier after i heard the news. Simply don't want support a channel that steals other people recipes. He might have stolen information from other places too for all we know. I think the reason why some people don't care too much about it is because they don't know how much effort was put into making something so incredible.
At least Remington James apologized for his mistake and openly admitted to it, saying he was in the wrong for what he did. Which is the sole reason why i am still a subscriber of his.
could you make this with a maltodextrin/sucralose combo? Its the only thing I have on hand and Idk if it would it change the taste of the brownie much.

I never liked Jeremy and agree with you on this situation, but she keeps posting people's hate comments and bringing more attention to herself.
