Turbopickle It just depends the route you decide to take, honestly. Whipple superchargers are pretty expensive compared to centrifugals so you’re gonna pay more. What is an n54 limited to in terms of power?

The yellow looks good on the calipers and under the hood. Nice too see something a little different. I have a 17 GT with a Kenne Bell 2.8L supercharger and did the install myself. Has the oil pump gears, crank sprocket, fuel pump booster, 47lb injectors, axles, driveshaft, 20" tires and wheels and a anti wheel hop kit. You mention a return fuel system set-up within your list of suggested mods. You don't need it. A fuel pump booster will do the exact same job for a fraction of the cost. In most case the booster will actually increase fuel pressure more than those high dollar fuel system. E-85 or gasoline. Makes no difference. Just an FYI. Love the car.

A lot more than it was in early 2000 for my 1999 Mustang GT. I bought 1st brand new Vortech SQ1 kit for $2795 in Feb. 2000 from Powered by Ford for my 99 Mustang GT it was one of the 1st kits every made for the 2 -valve S-281 Mustang GT with returnless fuel system. I had Lamotta Performance but it on for $750 and the total was 3545 + tax installed. The car made 347 rwhp on pre packed tune from Vortech and ran 12.46 in the 1/4 at 111 mph w 3.73 gears and a upgraded clutch and Dyno Flow cat back exhaust & 275-40-17 Nitto drag radials.

I paid 12k total for my Whipple stage 2, Sai Li fuel system, OPG and CS and remote dyno tune by Lund. Shop was 2900 for install of all that
also u need to do a lot of other mod to put the power down which is around 5k or so, so i would say if u want to get it right and safe, around 15k is a must be

My Pony basically has a JLT cold air kit with a 93 octane Bama tune from American Muscle but I always add V P Racing's Octanium with a full 7 point octane boost. So I'm running on 100% Octain. Believe me for a basically stock Pony it makes quite a difference.

What wheels n tires r in the back, I want to get the widest ones for my 17 gt and I've been looking at 11"-12" wide wheels to fit a 315. I'd love to go 325 if it's not sticking out beyond the wheel well. Any sizes and brands and prices would help me a lot thx!

So oil pump gears, crankshaft sprocket, and the whipple stage 2 kit is all you need to supercharge a daily driver mustang gt for it to be safe driver everyday?

@@thehayman7352 i'm assuming the oil pump gear like he said, but the billet timing sprockets is another important one for coyotes, as well as the whole engine should probably be built to be safe. forged internals, sleeved block.... basically like another 20k plus
Alex Wilcox yea but under 1000 hp you don’t need to build the engine like that. Just upgrade the halfahafts or they’ll snap for sure and maybe a drive shaft. Oil pump gears ⚙️ and you should be pretty good.

tasty car mah dood! =D i would... only not powder coat it, i would sandblast, brush/machined finish it, maybe polished then anodized purple with neon green screws and details, brake pads purple too, wheel nuts neon green...
Also to consider, half shafts/drive shaft/sprocke also recommended on all S550s is a cradle lockout similar to CB005 and/or CB762
And also a driver mod as the power on the custom kit is no joke :)
I think the 2nd best part of buying a SC is installing it yourself
