I actually really like this one. But I would absolutely love to see the other floor plan. Will you all be doing a tour of that on?? Please..lol The fridge is absolutely a game changer!!
I've been watching your reviews for a long time Matt. This is the FIRST time I've seen you 2 get stumped on coming up with a 3rd dislike! :) LOL. I think this R.V. floor plan is fantastic for a solo traveler (making the bed completely acceptable, which one doesn't think of immediately because of the 4 captain's chairs). You guys actually came up with 4 likes! Also, FYI on the driver's side, there is a hook-up for portable solar panels. There is still lots of room on the roof because they only give you one solar panel. You can either add more; do a roof deck; or transport gear on the rack that comes with the van. Also, there is a mount on the back kitchen cabinet by the shower for a lagun table giving you more counter space for prep and a place to eat in back. As a solo traveler, I would remove the captain's chair by the door and replace it with a 1/2 height set of drawers for clothes/ pots n' pans, etc. The 1/2 height would still allow for a view corridor and clearance in and out of the van. This is one of the most "do-able" floor-plans for a solo traveller that I've seen. All kinds of potential. I agree w/ the low clearance of the generator that someone else commented on. Gotta fix that Jayco. More solar; lose the generator.
@@eastsidebadger8416 it's going to get affordable real fast when people tire of the trend and the market is glutted with used models plus all the ones that were ordered for delivery in the future and never get picked up
JAYCO: Add a pop top for a sleeping area for kids. The layout especially the passenger seats is EXCELLENT! Small dislikes: 1. The center divide under the sink in the cabinet curtails the use of the cabinet. 2. The cover on the sink serves no purpose. I hate them on any RV but this one is the worst because of the hinge. It will be a yuk collector from soap and water splashes.
Add a power lowering bed above back bed. And a lowering bed, above the chairs. And sleep 5. (Two in the chairs. One above the chairs. And two, in the back upper and lower bed). If they were added. And cushions to the front seat, sleep 6. In a 20 foot camper van!
This is fantastic. A family with 2 children in an rv that has actual safe seats in the back is great. Some people are looking for a day tripper with a bathroom rather than a full rv especially since COVID.
There is a lot that I like about this floorplan, and it inspires me in case I end up having to do a custom build. Dislikes: 1) that generator placement seems low. I'd worry about scaping it on speed bumps. 2) no place for a dining table 3) no screen for the back Likes: 1) rear kitchen and sleeping 2) bathroom size and placement 3) looks like a roomy cab without the doghouse intrusion
I like it because it's different. It means the big RV companies are becoming more adventurous in their class B floor plans. Also, Matt & Andrea couldn't really find a 3rd dislike. Good job Jayco.
So true! My family actually had one of those when I was a kid. It had a very similar layout to this, but without the bathroom. Also it had no electricity or plumbing, so the fridge was just an "ice box", and the water for the sink was a pump connected to a 5 gallon container of water.
I was really considering this one for full time/work van. Could remove rear passenger seats and build out a small desk work station. The layout makes a small office area possible. Fridge is great. Bath is good. Then...you gave us the MSRP. Now it's a deal breaker.
I absolutely love this…for my cousin who doesn’t want an apartment & is currently living in his SUV because he doesn’t want something that looks like a camper. I wish I could buy it for him…
Great van, but needs screen on back doors & seatbelts on back seat/bed. Also, a pop-top option would be nice. Also, $130 is over the top when Thor is making the Scope and Rise for around $80.
I noticed support legs for the bed at 17:21. I really love the cushy captain’s chair with the table/desk. I’d chuck that 4th chair. One sleeping idea: swivel the front seats around, put some supportive foundation between the 4 chairs and then a mattress of some type on top to form another bed. This lil rig is not for me, mainly bc I want/need the power of the Transit. Looks good for a young family at the park or sports practice while mom and toddler can hang back and eat/nap lol.
1. Like where all the outside connections are located. 2. Nice slider screen door. 3.LOVE the refrigerator and bath. 1. Don't like rear kitchen/bedroom concept. 2. Rides 4 sleeps 2.....owners get the bed, moochers sleep in the seats!. 3. No options to be added.
I think you might be surprised how many people live full time or winter in vans that have way less amenities than this. Many build out their own out & use a bucket for a potty. They will sacrifice things like that to travel cheaper.
This is well designed RV. No one wants bigger restroom/shower, bed is well placed too. How many rv Really got four captain's chair with twin tv set up. ☝️😎
Jay o makes a great product. I don’t think I’d be using the four seats unless you could sleep four. This looks beautiful guys. I’ll drive you guys around. Thanks for the review. Cheers!!!
You can actually sleep 6 + 2 pugs. Amazon has air mattresses that go right over two captains chairs, so 2 air mattress will work. Outdoorsjoe has a video on it. 👍
Hi Matt and Andrea! My dislikes are the bed not be able to electrically move to sleep on and no storage under it. Those two are my only dislikes.my likes are the Refrigerator. The captains chairs. And the bathroom. Thank you Matt abs Andrea and Rv One fir showing this Class B.
Hey Matt and Andrea, great review! I like the little kitchen in this one. The second row of seats is an issue for me. If you have 4 people in this van you need a drop down bed or a pop up top. I like the stow away TV! I still like the Travato 59 KL the best! Keep on keepin' on!
We bought the Entegra Ethos 20A from Becky B. Love it. This is a 2 couple cruiser for those who stay at motels. This is what we are using it for. The 32" TV is a bit over the top though. 12 volt compressor fridge is great. The 2800i generator is very quiet.
Yeah this is a really nice set up it would be great if it had a pop-up option so you could put extra beds in the car. The only thing that I dislike about it is the price , what you’re getting it seems like a pretty high price.
I love the captain's chairs and the whole "use it as a day trip" type vehicle. Maybe a one person overnighter trip too. The TV in the galley area seems pretty useless. That would be a dislike for me. It's high and doesn't look like it tilts/can be adjusted. Great review Matt and Andrea!!
So impressed! I immediately thought of a family. Long day of soccer matches, sometimes extended breaks, toddler in tow, could easily nap, have lunch. So many options. Long travel days would be so much more comfortable. Also, could see it for solo traveller, who sometimes takes a bunch of friends for a day trip. Love the captain chairs, bathroom, fridge. Dislike Promaster chassis, poor materials (that screen door), two TVs.
Finally!!! I asked you to review this one ,Entegra version months ago lol. This is more of a day cruiser for tailgating or to kids baseball soccer games. Likes: quad seating, tv location and rear kitchen. Dislikes: none Gimmie gimmie gimmie. I prefer Dodge or Ford over Mercedes
This is perfect for weekend warriors like us that has a child.. Galley is good at the back for ventilation as well as when cooking like grilling at same time..
I like this except the cheap screen. I'm just looking for something I could do dog shows with w/o getting a hotel. I could remove one of the back seats for dog crate room and still be able to carry 3. This is getting closer to my price range especially if I could use it as a full time vehicle.
For more sleeping, a pop-top camper would be good, for two more people. Above the back bed, some camper vans have a bed that lowers down, from the ceiling. By the push of a button. With a ladder. For this camper van, More like a bunk bed style. With the extra bed above, at the side. Or, extended, towards the cabinets. For more sleeping space.. And if the the extra two seats could swivel and lie flat. Then, add thick cushions for a bed. The seats recline. So, easy to sleep there. Or, put an extra bed, above the chairs. With a ladder
This is great. Everything looks like very high quality. I love the bathroom, refrigerator, kitchen set up and appliances, the 4 captain's chairs that swivel, the 2 TVs and the shower hose at the back. I think I like the fact that it's so high up off the road for visibility. Love the backup camera and the versatility of the side mirrors. I think I saw some room under the mattress but not much. I tend to think that the passenger captain chairs might recline enough for sleeping. I don't see any place to carry an outdoor table, rug, grill and screened in eating area. I guess that the hitch on the back could be used to tow a small trailer with those items.
Hi I really like that one but I am hoping you will able to show that other floor plan as well and thank you for showing how the bed works even though I know it’s not easy. I agree it should be a Electric bed it Wood make it so much easier.
Thanks Matt and Andrea for another great RV review! #1 dislike wow 140K ain’t what it used to be. 2. Rear kitchen 3. Bed. 4. Screen door that didn’t work. ? Is there no awning? Likes. 1. Fridge 2. Bathroom 3. Comfortable seats
If I was in the market for a class b , this is the one , love the rear kitchen makes it feel so much more spacious.I think you missed a table under the couch/ bed
I really LOVE the floor plan, maybe for the next model they consider electric and no propane etc etc. I didn't see it or I missed it, but does the sofa have a seatbelt?
Unless they are deep discounting, this is no entry level. Jayco makes poor quality vehicles. But the seating is nice, the fridge is huge and the bath is decent. Matt’s wrap up is on point. Not what I’d want.
As a solo traveler...I would SO take that 4th seat out that is blocking the entry way to have to squeeze past to get in the van. It would also "open up" the area as I saw Matt and Andrea having to dance around just to get past each other in this small space. The price makes me sad as i really like this van.
I love the Dodge, the 4 captain's chairs (I'd never get a van without 4 seats up or near the front), and the refrigerator. I dislike the front TV for the driver and passenger, the bed and that's it! Nice to see something different.
i would use the toilet and shower as i have no gym memberships of any kind as i am walking disabled. but can still drive and walk with a cane or walker so sitting in a shower is golden.
The four seats with one bed is pretty weird but I can see this fills a small niche market. Still, if I was day tripping with three other people I'd want a better communal dining situation, like a real dinette with a single table. There is another Jayco floorplan for this rig that has two beds and just the two front seats.
I think this would be fantastic for my husband and I (and our dog) to travel from Vermont to Texas this winter. It would certainly be safer than having to stop and use so many public facilities. I’m not a big fan of class B’s in general, but this one, I could totally see. 🚗
I’m so glad you did this review! This is the model we’re going to Hershey to see next week. It’s perfect, we want something we can take the grandkids to the beach and the park etc safely. They’re little, so I could do an overnight with them. I plan to get an inflatable bed for the front seat. Or maybe a CabBunk. Excellent review
I understand that 2022 models of all Motor homes will probably not have rear ladders due to new regulations. You may have mentioned this in previous videos. I like the floor plan layout. Bathroom is one of the most usable.
Not all motorhomes, there will still be some with them, and good chance those that lose them will get them back after they figure out how. Maybe as soon as '23s.
Pretty cool. Like the setup of kitchen and seats but don’t like the bed. Too much work. Front tv is pretty cool and I always love the dodge dash we have a challenger and just love the look
It would really be valuable to review the quality of the unit and individual components. This seems more of a tour than an actual review. Nice overview though
I love this concept. Like you said, for the people/person who take long trips and want to be comfortable. You can still get in and out of most any store, restaurant, or drive thru... and you have the option of pulling over in a rest area or truck stop for the night whenever you don't want to bother with a hotel or camp site. This isn't a great camper van, but it's a perfect van/camper hybrid. Now... if I could just get it on a Ford Transit chassis with the twin turbo V6... 🤔
I feel like the area with the captain's chairs needs to be more multipurpose. It's a lot of space devoted to just travel as opposed to travel/dining/sleeping. Love the fridge and kitchen. The bathroom was surprising large.
3:42 "It is a nice screen door right there". No it's not. This is a new class B and the door is already not working well. Let's normalize calling out quality BS when we see them!
The tv up front is way to high to even watch it comfortably. The tv in the back should be on the other side so you can watch it in bed otherwise if you sleep with your head towards the fridge you have to do a flip to get out of the bed if there are two people in it. I wish they would put the generator some place else. It is so low that a curb can take it out. I would love to know the CCC on this.
I was wondering the same thing. I think it's been close to a year ago they made that announcement. But, they bought that new house with the pool, so I didn't want to pester.
I think your final comments nailed it with respect to the target consumer! It would definitely be a challenge to use for full-time or long duration trips. I think the outside solar hookup is a nice idea as is the larger fridge. BTW, you did not mention that it comes with a solar panel installed. The other model looks very similar to the Thor Sequence L - the unit we have. The Jayco unit you reviewed might not work for us, but it is definitely an interesting unit!
I really like this class b,would like a 4 wheel drive option, like i could bring long things through back doors,if the 2nd row seats could recline would be nice, finally the price is high
This would be great for us - wish there was a place to store a small tent and sleeping bag for grandkids if we had them along and couldn't find a motel. A pop top would solve that problem.
JAYCO PLEASE MAKES THIS INTO A POP TOP CAMPER EDITION!!!
Nice to see Andrea back. You guys are awesome together!
I actually really like this one. But I would absolutely love to see the other floor plan. Will you all be doing a tour of that on?? Please..lol The fridge is absolutely a game changer!!
Other floorplan (20T) shown at 12:24 I like it better with bath in rear, twin beds, only two seater. Does not look like it has fridge.

As a single nomad living in a Tab 400 Boondock, I love this Class B. I could live full time in this. Price makes this unavailable for me.
130k?! Seriously, for a generic class B? Whoa, these makers are WAY out of bounds right now...
Yes they are..RVing will be unaffordable for many & many of these manufacturers will be out of business if they don’t change.

I looked it up. the engine is 280 HP, not 188. Been told by an owner of a camper on this chassis that they get 16 mpg

I'm not a #vanlife / class B person. But I think 5 or 6 is way too many to sleep in something this size. I do like the idea of the beds that lower.

i think the rear captains chairs fold flat with the driver and passenger which makes 2 single beds when they are swiveled around.
That's a great idea, it would give a couple of small beds. Back seat passengers have to use those! I can't imagine how lumpy it would be.

For more sleeping, a pop-top camper would be good, for two more people.
Above the back bed, some camper vans have a bed that lowers down, from the ceiling. By the push of a button. With a ladder.
For this camper van,
More like a bunk bed style. With the extra bed above, at the side. Or, extended, towards the cabinets. For more sleeping space..
And if the the extra two seats could swivel and lie flat. Then, add thick cushions for a bed. The seats recline. So, easy to sleep there.

I agree. There seems to be something missing? Like the screen door that wouldn’t work. Why was this not commented on?
I love this concept. Like you said, for the people/person who take long trips and want to be comfortable. You can still get in and out of most any store, restaurant, or drive thru... and you have the option of pulling over in a rest area or truck stop for the night whenever you don't want to bother with a hotel or camp site.
This isn't a great camper van, but it's a perfect van/camper hybrid.
Now... if I could just get it on a Ford Transit chassis with the twin turbo V6... 🤔
Nice do! And Andrea is looking great too!
Great review you guys..
They have to change the front of the Ram chassis. Not a good look. Also if you cant sleep four, what is the point? Like the fridge and TV pull down
Nice but think if you need more elbow room they shouldn’t have put the bathroom across from fridge.
AWESOME Laren!
Like. Probably would like the other floor plan better. Very nice fit and finish!
A four seater should have a a four sleeper...pop top would be a perfect completion. #Vanlife
This would make a great travel vehicle or "beach day" vehicle.
Matt, have you received your Odyssey yet?
I was wondering the same thing. I think it's been close to a year ago they made that announcement. But, they bought that new house with the pool, so I didn't want to pester.
Where the table in the kitchen area?
Very unique and very interesting.
I really like it there’s a good Day cruiser
