Hey that shower, change the shower door to one made by SEA. It will add 7" in width at the top and is a Nautilus style. They are great and not expensive. As for the beds hey drop a gel mattress pad down and they will be super comfy.
"Dietary issues." Matt, some may scoff at that but if you or someone in your family indeed has conditions or age plays a factor in health...dietary issues can indeed be a daily concern. Immediate access to the restroom plays into those health conditions. You gentleman are at the top of your game in knowing your broad spectrum of customers & their needs.
Skip the oven, make the microwave a convection microwave and gain more storage under the stove! Love that it has a dry bath with a shower door. Love the bigger fridge.
Love you matt andrea and family. And how about thay unna girl. Love you to will and jen and family. Yay. Yay. Yay. Shout out to. Grenzeys for letting our favorites matts r.v. reviews. At your store. Hats off and shout outs to patrick to. May god bless you all. Just keep on keepin on. Jan from texas. A big fan since you matt and andrea got on utube at r.v. general. Congradulations on your new journey. Thank you for everything. Jan from texas. Also prayers. Is with you always.
I thought that too but where would you store them? Also we rented a more expensive Class C with a very uncomfortable jack knife sofa. What is up with that?
This is awesome solo RV for the price . I would Change one sofa to a Day bed for comfort sleeping and storage under. Move table leg mounts closer to the existing couch. Add a 2nd table top on a piano hinge (drop leaf) to double the width of table when needed. Keep the walkway passable with table in place.
Wow, Gerzeny's has it all! Sure wish I lived closer. This rig is awesome. Kinda makes me wish I hadn't just bought a tiny trailer. 😁 Likes: small size, flexibility of layout (you're right, it would make a great office), interior colors. Dislikes: other than my usual counterspace gripe, there's not much I don't like about this one!
Not sure if you guys noticed, but the table position is actually offset favoring the sofa to the right for your eating space, while allowing more room on the left side for walking through the unit while the table is installed. It kind of makes sense too as this is really a couples motorhome. Great review!
We thought it was great! Well thought out floor plan. Kitchen was home run with an oven. Bathroom was plenty big for 22'. 7.3 V8 fantastic and priced right!!!!
Despite the gripes about the sofa/beds, remember you can buy a rollup camping pad to put over them from any Cabelas or big name camping store. This type of setup would work for me even if I had a wife (I'd make sure she likes B+ RVs first 😁) since either side can be used to set a laptop on the table. The one trick they can do to make it perfect would be to replace the standard top with one that has a 2" wide swingout leaf. Considering how narrow it looks, 2" added to each side would make a big difference. Also, I wish Dodge was contracted to build the chassis since they can use it on the tough, reliable Mercedes Sprinter chassis. Sorry, Mercedes has co-owned the Dodge brand for a long time. In fact, look in your owner's manual on the page with all the legal mumbojumbo. It will say "Dodge Trucks: a division of Daimler-Benz."
For the heck of it, I just watched your review. We bought BT cruiser 5210 in April this year and have been on the road camping with it ever since. We started in New Mexico and camped in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California. You might be right about the beds being uncomfortable but I don’t know because we did a slight modification that turned those 2 jackknife beds into one bed that is nearly as large as a king-size bed and it is mega comfortable. And it folds up in the daytime!
I think you need an episode where you discuss working from the different classes of RVs. I know some RVs have the ability to direct connect laptops and use the TV as a monitor. Show how far you can go away from RV and not lose connection with the wifi extender. How a passenger can work from the road. .
Great 1-Person RV! With just the right modifications it can be almost perfect. Justin Credible, RV UA-camr of Canada, converted a similar BT a few years back. Remove the couches, put a bed on one-side and a desk (and wood fire stove, eh!) on the other, and voila, perfection. Pillows lined the walls for sitting. Anyone south of St. Louis probably doesn't need the stove! Things we like: Size, Price, construction (Azdel/Fiberglass Roof), Kitchen. Things we don't: sofa beds, plastic toilet ($300 conversion) with compromised pooping position.
Gerzeny's have awesome owners and staff. I've been to two of their locations, Nokomis and Bradenton, and both store knew I was not buying but just wanted information, and both treated us with their valuable time and showed us around, answering our questions. I'm still looking at RVs and over time my tastes have changed. Gerzeny's is definately the first place I will be stopping at when I'm ready to buy. I suggest you give them a look-see.
Love this rig because 1. no slides, 2. no slides, and 3. no slides! I wouldn't hate on the jack-knife sofas, just get a nice modified mattress topper that maybe you can store somewhere, or even a nice sleeping bag would make up for any discomfort of the sofas. Love the kitchen layout and the HUGE refrigerator instead of those stupid dorm fridges that a lot of smaller RV's have. The rear fiberglass cap and fiberglass roof are a nice bonus as well. The only thing that would make this perfect for its type would be a Ford transit chassis instead of the 350.
I own a BT Cruiser a long time now. They are very well built and are made the same way they made since 2003. Mines 28 ft with a slide and rear queen bedroom. I never had never had any issues or leaks. WE have 10 I get a solid 11mpg flat towing a Ford ranger. I stay under 65 mph. WE LOVE THIS RV BRAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ill never sell ours perfect for 2 people. I am not fond of the unit in video because no actual bed. But they make other models with a full slide
Dislikes: Carpeted storage below, no adjustable shelves in the cabinets, no official bed (Murphy bed would work where the sofas are) Likes: Love the kitchen, love the bathroom and MSRP/sale price.
You're right...perfect for business. We've used our 22' class C for 25 years! Now we'll replace it and love the size for everything. Tip: get two covered quality for pads and fitted Beddy's sleep sets for them. Perfect for sleeping/daytime.
Matt & Will, thanks for reviewing a BT Cruiser. This one is nice, but since I've been watching your videos the last few years, I get other RV videos in my UA-cam feed. The BT Cruiser that I really like is the 5240. The bathroom and kitchen are pretty much the same, but there's only 1 sofa that turns into a Murphy bed. The great thing is that it's directly across from the TV, which is on a televator and fireplace is under the TV. You gotta see the 5240.
Finally something that can do just what I want. Louisiana has been hit hard by Covid. My Son is buried in North Louisiana. I haven't been able to take flowers because of where I would have to stay if we went by car. We are at that age we can't drive 16 hours round trip. Being retired Military we can sleep on just about anything.
After watching this, I checked the Gulfstream site and found the model #5240! WOW...just what I've been looking for. Much like this #5210...only with a great couch/murphy bed AND a 40-inch t.v. and a small fireplace. It's incredible and Grezeny has one on order. Thanks for partnering with the various dealers as there are SO many models that some of us don't know about.
I like this one, nice that it has no slides. Great sized refrigerator, two separate beds, not much to dislike here at all. Wish it was available with the Chevrolet 4500 chassis... The E-350 is very cramped in the footwell when compared to the Chevy.
Hey Matt and Wil, thanks for the review. New format is great! Seeing lots of different brands now-love it! This is interesting-I like the two beds and the kitchen and the price seems good. I'm not crazy about the dark cabinets or the exterior color scheme! Keep on keepin' on!
Love this one. As a freelance, who just needs his laptop to work, this one would be great for extended periods on the road. An air mattress would solve the issue with the comfort of sleeping.
Will got the last like spot-on. The kitchen is the best part because Gulf Stream fought to squeeze everything out of it. For a measly 24 feet, I'm amazed they wouldn't compromise and stuffed a full residential size fridge in PLUS a pantry. I've seen some RVs that are bigger than this where the brand (not Gulf Stream) refused to install a pantry closet! That kitchen is pretty cramped but hell, I can live with that. If I have to stand in the bathroom doorway to reach the stove and cook some pasta, I'll do it. The hard cushions aren't an issue. Just buy a roll-up sleeping pad to put over it. I've used one before and it makes a big difference when sleeping on a "rock" sofa/bed.
I'll fix it: Add a cab-over bunk. Replace the curb-side sofa with an office desk and hutch. Replace the traffic-side sofa with a bookshelf and shallow cabinets / filing cabinets. Toss out the table. Toss the TV and stereo, you have a computer for that. Get one or two office chairs.
Love the floor plan. Change the shower door. Change the couch to a more comfortable couch the same length more comfortable. Extra comfortable. Bigger table. Does all windows open. Is the unit well insulated. Need a porclain toilet. Is the shower one piece fiberglass. Does the cabinets come in different lighter. Colors. Love the fridge. Thank you. colors.
I own a 5210 with Sofa and Dinette. It’s awesome. My main drawback is, there is a large space behind TV but not accessible. We need to get that take care on our own.
Like the new specifications table. Much easier to read. I am always most interested in water tank capacities and used to have to pause the video and walk up to my TV to look lol. Great use of space in this one. Yeah it would be a bit of a pain setting up beds every day but its pretty cool for one or two people. Definitely way better than a van based class B. Quite like it.
Matt, why aren’t you mentioning that the fiberglass end cap on the back GREATLY reduces the chances of water intrusion? Might sound silly but that’s a HUGE plus!
Very slick unit. Much more room than most vans but only a couple feet longer. The beds may not be comfortable but the open/close is clever. Kitchen is great. Love the price.
1)Thank you for mentioning people with special needs 2) Great for soccer moms or Grammies like me who want to get out there but don’t want to drive a dang bus 3) I love the rear kitchen and bath. I didn’t know they still made this model. Cons: 1) Cab is kinda tight 2) Fridge could be smaller to add more pantry space or… 3) Who really uses the oven? Not me.
Love the new Matt's RV Reviews format allowing freedom to show more models and dealerships. Love the Godzilla V8! Perfect for couple or single person. Love storage and tv area. Love the price. Love the kitchen with oven. Dislike table. Better would be lagoon or folding table. Dislike plastic toilet.
Great review, I really like this small motor home and it is exactly what I am looking for. I wish that was lived closer because I would consider purchasing this unit.
I love this small compact unit. Very nice layout, the space is well used. It reminds me of the small class C’s we owned in the 80’s . Great if you spend lots of time outdoors. Dislikes: shower door? Or should I say door plastic. Sofas can be made better. But a memory foam pad would take care of that. Great video, very nice coach
I like how you describe this as a day cruiser. It lets you have a toilet at any time, a place to eat lunch or take a nap, and then get back on the road. I could see taking this across the country and staying at motels once every other night for showers and comfy beds and the other nights boondocking or dry camping at a rest stop. I kind of want to see this floor plan or idea and length on a Freightliner M2 chassis for a much better comfort ride.
This is actually an RV that I would consider buying. I am not a fan of the jackknife sofas but the idea I can leave one down as the bed and the other up as a workstation looks amazing. And like Chad said get a gel mattress pad and I am all set. This would be the way to see the US.
I love that the outside storage compartments open up fully, upwards, and it looked like they were held up with magnets, right? That's great! I want one!!
I really like that rig! When I retire and travel by myself, it wouldn't be too big. A very nice kitchen counter and bathroom (With exception to the plastic toilet)
I would keep one bed down always and ditch that awful table. A lagoon table for the one I leave as a couch would make me happy. I love the kitchen! Especially the size of the kitchen.
I love it for the office and the short length! I stopped by to watch this video because I saw it get a 4x4 lift kit on another video. Thank you for the honest review on the mattress comfort. I'm disappointed they didn't even try to put in seatbelts. I know sideways is not a prime seatbelt position but something is better than nothing.
Well, with that sale price, this certainly was one of the most economical homes you guys have reviewed, but it was pretty obvious this isn't exactly intended for extended camping trips, and that shower would definitely NOT work for me at 6'5" and as big as Will. I was worried he was going rip a hole in that flimsy shower door. HA! The kitchen space and amenities were impressive in that footprint and did like the dual sofa's, but given the fact that you indicated how uncomfortable they were as beds, that would truly limit the usefulness of this unit as a camping unit, even for a couple.
I'm surprised that anyone over 6'1" was able to stand up in that shower considering the severe length constraints the brand was under. Since they tried to squeeze everything into less than 24 feet, I'm shocked that guys as big as these two were able to use the bathroom. Oh, and also the massive windows help since you can let in a lot of light and not waste fuel running the genny when it's late in the afternoon.
The unit just finished a 40 day trip out West 7,400 miles for 2 people and was very comfortable easy to drive and economical.Best unit this size for the money on the market.May want to look at it again.Happy owners...
The integrated front fender flairs are cool, the fridge vent, heater & water heater cover would look good painted. The table could be extended 4 inches or so on one side so someone could still squeeze by.
Thanks Matt and Will. I like this unit. Like a couple of others have said put some kind of comfortable topper on the sofas and make them more comfortable. Was wondering is there storage space under the sofas for those comfortable toppers? Wish you had shown the storage space over the cab. Can't believe it will tow 5000 lb. Thanks again, great job.
LOVE fridge size! Nice price! Great floor plan (I prefer the sofa/seating/dining area to be the bed). I’d prefer a micro/convection oven combo. Great storage! Really decent shower size and ok toilet area.
Great review and Grezeny's is on the short list of dealers since they let you do your own "honest and unbiased reviews." I and many others are paying attention to which dealers let you do reviews of their RVs.
I hadn’t finished watching this when it came out, glad it just popped up again. I love this unit. I will definitely have more than 3 likes. I love the size, the layout, the jackknife sofas, the windows, dry bath, fridge and more. I also like the entry door at the back. I haven’t looked at specs yet, but I can see my husband, dog and I camping in this. I don’t understand why they put a 3 burner stove with oven in such a small unit. When I camp, I prefer to cook outdoors. The only thing I do indoors is make coffee and warm in the microwave. I would switch out the table for two Lagun tables. The biggest negative would be storage. I need outdoor chairs, a small screen tent and an outdoor grill or griddle. Not sure where they would go. Would like to see more amenities for the truck. Side collision cameras/mirrors are pretty standard these days. All in all a great unit at an amazing price point.
This checks all my boxes! ❤️ My husband and I aren't sleep compatible. I promise, we've tried! This would give just enough separation to keep me from beating him in my sleep and him tossing and turning me onto the floor! I'm 5'2, 100 lbs. and he's Will's height and about 270! 🤣
I’m with you on the pull out sofa bed not being comfortable but definitely more comfy than the bench inside the drunk tank at county jail. 🤣 Definitely a good option for tailgating and cruising along the coast
I would keep one of the jack knifes down, & find a big comfy mattress that fits perfectly ontop of it then you have a Couch AND a bed ready at all times. Would be a solid full time rig. Also… you could convert that thing to 4x4 … 😁
Good job on this one guys. I to like the concept but the beds would kill my back. I would probably leave beds up right and throw a good air mattress in the middle. Hehe. For sure just a weekend or rolling office rig. No outside storage to speak of really. Thanks for the tour. Miss Andrea. Love the new and also improved Matt’s reviews. ✌️👍❤️
As much as you see the utility/day-use upside to a rig like this, you seemed to be negative on the stuff it lacks, when it's not meant to be a luxury B+/C rig. Does it have USB ports, etc? The stainless look of the LARGE fridge and other kitchen appliances are impressive to me. Keeping one sofa in bed mode, outfitted with a foam mattress/topper and plush bedding, and your favorite pillow means a comfy nap or night of rest. Looks like the cab seats don't swivel, so I can see installing a Lagun table to make a work desk or dining table more custom-fitted. I wonder why this doesn't sit on a Transit cutaway chassis...that'd be badass with the AWD and EcoBoost. This lil rig is extremely tempting to buy right now, since this pandemic is continuing to keep me from hotels and using restrooms not at home or work.
I didn't read all the reviews but surprised no one, including Matt and Will, mentioned (and disliked) the cab not being same color as the rest of the camper. Also, striping was mismatched, cab to the rest of the unit. Seemed like a last minute scramble by the manufactuer to get this on a lot.
As a solo traveler, I love the length and layout, large fridge. Doesn't seem like there's much underneath storage and from reviews seems like quality isn't fantastic.
I would get rid of that table & get a fold up table that can be used outside. If the bed is uncomfortable put down a memory foam pad on top. I still like the versatility with this RV & that the sofa is used for hauling people, sitting & for sleeping. I want to move up from a tent but needs Solar Panels.
Nice RV! I kind of like the 2 couches and table in the middle. The kitchen area is nice and especially the little oven, nice sized fridge for such a small motorhome. The bathroom is ok, but that shower looks narrow even for me, and I'm 5'4, 120 lbs. Thats probably my only dislike is the shower! Thanks for showing this! God bless!
I agree with Chad, the shower update would rock this little gem! Would be a great idea to offer upgraded sofa options. This is a cute couples rig. Love it. Another great review! Thanks!
I could live in that !!! Love it .not too many models have something that can be made into twin beds which is a feature I love . ( I toss and turn and constantly wake husband up ) . Don’t have to stop to rest area to use facilities.
Hi Matt/Andrea how are you 2?,,Yeah,, it's been a while.:) Listen,, those arm rests can be placed behind the sofa between back and window as to be used for a Neck/head supporter. Also,, egg/foam padding could be applied to sofas for support and comfort. One of the best things about a Gulfstream Brand is their attention to quality. Very similar to "Born Free" design. Also the comp will let re-design the interior if you wish. Very cool appeal.!!
Upgrade sofa cushions... and a larger Lagoon Table required. I would change out shower... ditch the sink. Mega room then. Wash hands in the kitchen. Simple fixes!! I could full time live in it then.
They should put the bed in the back and use the front driver chair and passenger chair swivel around to have seating. It’s still a nice class b plus but I would use it long term travel so I would want a comfortable bed for me.it’s nice that it is small you can go to smaller campsites. I don’t like the shower door just use a curtain.
Hey that shower, change the shower door to one made by SEA. It will add 7" in width at the top and is a Nautilus style. They are great and not expensive. As for the beds hey drop a gel mattress pad down and they will be super comfy.
Agreed on the gel mattress. A simple fix, even for a big guy like Matt!

Perfectly said!
I agree!
Skip the oven, make the microwave a convection microwave and gain more storage under the stove! Love that it has a dry bath with a shower door. Love the bigger fridge.
I've been a camper for 61 years and I love the oven and the big fridge.

The sofa/beds are great in an emergency and so is the bathroom. It’s great for a first timer couple. Love the big windows.
Perfect daily driver for my family having special needs children. A great upgrade to our conversion van. Great review guys!!
Jackknife sofas plus a nice firm memory foam topper equals REAL comfortable night’s sleep!
I thought that too but where would you store them? Also we rented a more expensive Class C with a very uncomfortable jack knife sofa. What is up with that?
@@Susan-pg7yc - You read my mind! LOL!
Roll the topper up & store in shower.
Exactly what I was thinking!
Store in the storage under sofa

Matt, Will. I like this lay out especially the 2 separate couches/sleeping area. One can upgrade the cushions. Good review. Thank you!
Thanks for reviewing the BT Cruiser. The 5245 is one we are seriously considering.

Matt!! The valance !! That’s Art Deco!!!
Full bath in the rear yay! If the front bubble could have a drop down bed and tv moved and hidden behind a sofa.
Send Matt these messages in love, I'm sure it's stressful for the four of them during this transition!
This is such a smart design for a small space. I really like this.
This is for tent campers who like to do working vacations and/or don’t want to poop in a portapoti. Love this thing!
Very slick unit. Much more room than most vans but only a couple feet longer.
The beds may not be comfortable but the open/close is clever. Kitchen is great. Love the price.
This is awesome. This would be a fantastic for weekend outings with dogs since there is no high bed. The dogs can easily lay on those long sofas.
One piece fiberglass roof deserves a thumbs up and the fiberglass back wall.
I really like this RV. I love the floor plan. I'm not looking to buy yet, but when I do, this RV is at the top of my list.
Love this RV & its layout. You're missing that it's a step up from a narrow van that has a much larger bath & shower.
Good use of a small space. Don’t like the shower door, boooo to the plastic pooper. Agree this is more of a daily driver / mobile office
So cute "Is this Art Deco?" Fun while learning about different RV's, love it!
I'm so glad that backsplash is enough to catch some splashes
Great review and Grezeny's is on the short list of dealers since they let you do your own "honest and unbiased reviews." I and many others are paying attention to which dealers let you do reviews of their RVs.
I loved this review I hope you do more bt criuser
Good, honest review! We do appreciate Patrick! Matt & Team… you are doing great things in your new venture!
I’m with you on the pull out sofa bed not being comfortable but definitely more comfy than the bench inside the drunk tank at county jail. 🤣 Definitely a good option for tailgating and cruising along the coast
Mattress Toppers would help the Mattress Comfort.
Good luck Matt!
I would keep one of the jack knifes down, & find a big comfy mattress that fits perfectly ontop of it then you have a Couch AND a bed ready at all times. Would be a solid full time rig. Also… you could convert that thing to 4x4 … 😁
Yah less hassle for 1. How to make it 4x4? Its not 4wd? 🤔
@@Wize817 You have to go to Quigley to make it 4x4.
Travel nurse + entrepreneur here! I must have this unit!! I love the double couch situation 🥰🥰
A lift bed or a cab bed would be perfect 😉 I adore the oven 😍 I am an oven must haver.
I feel like Matt needs this to travel with for a mobile office
Cheesy shower door; agree the table isn't big enough. Love the size, and that there are no slides. I need a stationary bed, though.
This is perfect for me and the wife. I love the oven
Like Bryan said, I would look for a dually model and a better bed as others have suggested.
I like this one a lot -- I like the size, layout, 2 twin beds, etc. The kitchen & bath are satisfactory for the small size.
Thanks!
Honestly one if the best I've seen. And if I was going to buy a new unit this would be top of my list.
Didn't hear the all important cargo carrying capacity on this one....do you have it please. Thanks!
I like it!! Great for State Parks.
I could live in that !!! Love it .not too many models have something that can be made into twin beds which is a feature I love . ( I toss and turn and constantly wake husband up ) . Don’t have to stop to rest area to use facilities.
Wow... I think I might finally have found the perfect RV for me.
Missing the cameras on the mirrors. Love the unit. Love everything else about it.
Thank you Matt and Will! Hi Andrea! I’ve been curious about this B plus. Needed your opinion.
One of my favorites RV for what we wanted for, at a great price compared to other B+
Good seeing Will for perspective, I’m also 6’3” and large. Thanks again for your terrific content
