....just came across this video. .....although white/blueish/daylight colored LED DRL look cool everyone around here has them. .....I opted to go a different route, I installed some dark amber colored LED bulbs and they look way awesome, and separate my Renegade from the 30 others in my small town.
Just changed mine! Great tutorial! Mine looked different though, was all silver instead of the gold-ish top part like yours in the video. Works though!
Thank you for sharing this video In 2023 I'm here watching your video and thinking that it works on the Renegade 2019 with no errors on the panel. Regards!
Great video! Really helped me out. I replaced the rear turn signal lights and about to replace the DRL. First time changing out since I had 5 different lights go out, 2016 Renegade. I picked up the Phinlion. I am still getting the flashing though for the rear TS, not sure if they have the resistors.
Thanks for the video I picked up the same DRL’s after watching the video, and the after burn does go out about 15/20 minutes after I turn the jeep off and no codes!! Thanks George keep the videos coming
This was so helpful, thank you so much! I got the notification on my dash and I freaked out and this helped me feel a lot more confident in knowing what I was doing lol- I did want to ask, though, are these also the parking lights, or will I have to change another bulb for that?
Can you recommend a good fog light that doesn't cost as much as parts stores. In my area they are $80...Anyway the one on the passenger side got so hot it melted the housing. Ordered from the Zon and had thos put in, same thing, now passenger side is black and the driver side has moisture in it 🤨
Good video dude. I ordered DRL’s almost 2 weeks ago. I should have them by next Monday. I hope I bought the right kind of LED’s. It’s so many options. I have a 2018 Renegade. My fog LED’s are on order and should be on the way. I just happened to stumbled across your video. I replaced the side markers last year.
@@AdventureGT I have to order some new DRL. The brands I purchased didn’t last long. My fog lights are still holding up. But I don’t use them as much maybe that’s why.
Mine is always going out. Local parts store said LEDs didn't exist for that bulb. Glad to see they do. Maybe an update to see if the ones you switched to are still functional after a year or so?
Hi great video, my 2017 Renegade ....Im doing the OEM style Sylvanias for now, after the passenger side stopped working .... but I tried two replacement bulbs and still no light (while it was hanging in the wheel well), I thought maybe it wouldn't light up until bulb mount is replaced into housing, to make a ground or something, but still no go. The other side works fine. Any chance theres a fuse for each side ? The bulb receptacle and pigtail all look fine, no wear or cuts in the wire or anything. Thank u!
Where is the fuse for this? The owners manual doesn't say parking lights, drl, or anything like that. I have all these errors and no idea which fuse to replace.
My front right side running light keeps going out! I took to a shop and they said I used wrong bulb. The one they used blew after 5 weeks. Question on your video? The part you have linked shows it being a fog light, do you have the part number and manufacturer name? Thanks, video is helpful!
iJDMTOY is the company that makes them. They make a few LEDs for the Renegade that work great. As for bulb or part number I'm not sure. I took the gamble buying them and I haven't had any problems since
I am trying to do this for my Jeep Renegade but they are not screws. I was told it’s sort of like a push-pin that’s in the middle and when you pull that out, you can then pull the bigger part out. I cannot for the life of me get the middle piece out. Does anyone have any tips??
I understand your pain period enough times of me going in and out of there I think I might have messed up the piece. Realistically you can grab pliers and force it out. I'm not saying nothing will get damaged, but at least you'll have it off
@@AdventureGT I have a 2021 and found out it takes different bulbs, my drl and turn signal is one bulb. Found some Alla psy24w less I’m gonna try though. Awesome video’s though man. Got the reverse and headlights coming though.
@@AdventureGT thanks man. I’ve bought the fog lights, reverse lights, running lights and headlight that you installed😂 love them all so far! Got anything else coming?
I really appreciate your support! There's a few led lights that I still want to upgrade to but haven't pulled the trigger on. Keep an eye out for those videos to come
@@ryangrindstaff2935 would love to get the links to all the lights that you have bought and are working. I have a 2018 Renegade and would really like to upgrade all the dull white bulbs that come standard :)

I don't blame you. I personally like the exnon white look but I haven't seen any with the amber look. I bet it looks sick

I haven't replaced the rear TS yet. Don't really want to run resistors. Was hoping to get an ( all-in-one) LED bulb that can do it all

You are a top class teacher, mate...
And what's more, you speak very clearly, so we don't need any subtitles to follow your explanations. (English is not my mother language)

They are different from your turn signals. Otherwise they are just meant to stay on as the cars on. :)
Thanks for the video, I fixed mine so quick😊

are these lights still working?
After the update I haven't had any issues
Hi, i want to change my head light bulbs to LED, can you confirm please what would be the correct bulbs to use, thank you.
Great videos btw. 👍

wheres the video on tinting the DRL lenses?
Do they blink white when making a turn
How long maximum is the led bulb ?
Will the DRL housing of Renegade depth enough for it since it originally comes with a short round bulb.
Thx for the explanation. Great video! Greetings from germany

That's weird. I don't believe there is individual fuses for both left and right. Something is up for sure, bad wire somewhere

I currently have not. Still yet to do those.

I've seeing on some Renegades these lights throw a code after installation. Mine did not until one went out.
Well done 🥇
So did you change to other bulbs? Cause I don't want to be changing them all the time
