It has taken way longer then I expected to get all the braking and suspension parts the Lexus needed. All that is done with because I finally got all the parts I ordered to make my 2002 Lexus IS300 stop faster and handle harder!
Seriously, if you're in the market for new wheels VMR Wheels out, you will not be disappointed.

Check out Dezod at www.DEZOD.com, great prices, great quality, and great service and they should really be your first stop for parts.

That Dezod endorsement didn't age well, lol. But all seriousness... im glad, im catching this build. Though an old video, im glad im watching someone take this platform seriously rather than a stanced/slammed or drift build.
You’re 100% correct about Dezod. Still waiting on the headers. Lol.
@@ShiftingLanes i had my issue with him 2 years ago. Because of it, im struggling to find a good Catted header. Any suggestions?
I did pretty much everything you did on your project only difference is I went the extra mile and got apexi n1 coilovers
Love that you are doing a non stanced, non drift build. I found a very low mileage IS300 Sportcross, it’s in fantastic condition, and I definitely don’t like the majority of builds that people do. This looks more my style, subtle, careful, well thought out.
Can you do a separate video for suspension and brakes?
The brakes will have their own video. Specifically the front, LS400 conversion.
And def mo drift build. I want this car to emulate the feel of my old m3, or at least as close as I can get. This is a street car. Not a track car.
Thanks for watching! Next video comes out Monday!

Oh man this is exciting, I'm looking forward to this!
Can’t stop staring at the wheels 😍 love this build, keep the updates coming!
I can't wait to do them justice by getting the ride height right.
Thanks for watching!

Loving this series, would it be possible for you to make a list of items with the matching specs? such as wheel offset, brake pad type, etc. I know some info is in the video but I want to try and match some of these parts to my own build, thanks!
Here's the list:
Eibach Pro Plus Kit.

Great video please keep the IS300 videos coming
I wanted to see more as well but from the looks of it the is300 is gone and the channel is all about Volvo's now. For good is300 content check out vtbobby or c3garagemedia
Sick build! What wheel offset and tire sizes u running? Also any rubbing issues with the wheels?
I think Megan racing does the spacer for the ls400 calipers as well.
Install the stock front IS300 calipers on the rear!
Interesting thought. Hadn't thought of it that way. Might be worth looking into.
-Chad
does this mean that were gonna see a is300 vs v70r vs m3??
Theres a very good chance of that some time down the line.
-Chad
Are you sure? The IS300 doesn't have 50:50 weight distribution, making the car really unpredictable at its limits. And sorry, those parts alone would not make it handle like an E46 M3. Your setup is similar to the L-tuned is300 and that is pretty much it. You're better of going with TRD yellow Sways, pair with the prokit bilstein struts and some braces.
it's front heavy since the 2jz is about 200lbs heavier than the 3sge that the car was designed around. that being said, my experience with the is300 is that it is very stable at high speeds and the extra weight comes through in a tendency to understeer through sharp corners.
When are you guys dropping more IS300 content??
Sadly the is300 is sold.
I have ls400 brakes, much better than stock, gonna have to paint them this winter!
These are the ones that say Lexus on the caliper right? Do they just swap bolt on? Or do i need something extra for installing?
@@slayvid2620 poor man mods has a good video on doing this as well as the parts you need as it is not direct bolt on for the is300
@@jicez6649 right on man, thanks.
i get being different is cool but sometimes its just cheaper to go with something that has aftermarket up the ass. The M3 has that in droves. its almost like the small block chevy of sport compact cars. sure you will pay upfront for the M but you get great right out of the box.
Very valid points. This isnt so much being different, more I fell in love with the IS300 a long time ago. Once I had the money to get one I have been wanting to do these things to the car. Think of the M3 as inspiration less of a pure rival.
Tha ls for watching.
-Chad.
Reliability on the 2jz trumps the s54 at least to me it does. The s54 is still great but ur gonna have less problems with the is300 any ways.
Bro those wheels tho. What's the brand? Please
He says it at 0:55
The orange things aren't spacers they are roll center adjusters.
Can you do this video on a 2nd Gen GS300
This guy thinks only figs makes those adapters....... are you kidding.
You didn't talk much about parts unless that's all your doing struts coils and sway bar lame
