Great video Steve, that first one you shot had a bit of a dodgy back leg but you done it a big favour mate. And that fox at the end wanting them lambs , it must of been hungry to be doing that but fair play Steve you had the bugger . Well done. 👍
My Dad was the shepherd on an estate in Devon, and when we checked the ewes one night, this ewe with twins, was fighting off 6 of the buggers, cracking video, keep them coming 🤓
Great job, im an Irish sheep fatmer and know the distress of having lambs snatched by foxes, it takes time and patience on behalf of the shootet, congrats, humañe job done
Brother, in 30 odd years of shooting I have never seen such a crazy video. I've used nv for years now, seen a few things, but that was amazing . I'm using the Apex 4k ,great bit of gear also on a death grip. More vids , stay safe.
That was ace!! Ive been keeping an eye on my father in laws ewes and lambs recently now theyre out in the fields but not been any fox showing yet. Almost waiting to catch something like that in my scope though. Certainly had quite a few though in the area over the last few months so on top of it i guess. Thats a beauty bit if footage though!!
What range is most of these shots take n? Want to buy a thermal scope but budget is tight but if i purchase a NV scope and IR light i need to be able to have adequate sight picture to take up to 250 metre + shots on foxes.
I’ guessing you are using some licence restricted firearm by the sound (I don’t have much clue so excuse my ty pe tools I would need for efficacy and ideally ) I was thinking of getting a pellet rifle and scope to manage rodents on my allotment any suggestions for the best for a clean despatched - much appreciated from Neath
I would go for a second hand pcp or a good quality springer air rifle if you didn't want to pump it up,and a second hand scope if your only plinking out a allotment, probably go to your local gun shop and they will have a cheap setup for your needs.
Check out the law on Air Rifles as you need the landowners permission (preferable in writing in case you get surrounded by armed police) which I am presuming is not you, also you cannot so much as drop a pellet on a neighbouring plot as it stops being an Air Rifle Offence and becomes a Fire Arms Offence.
Very nice shooting and quite suspenseful! Thanks!
Thank you
Great video mate. Almost went blue holding my breathe for your shot. Also here in Australia couldn’t understand most of that 😂
Subtitles next time
That was a cracking bit of footage. Gets the point across of just why we do what we do. Well done, and as you said, "two very lucky lambs".
Great job on the foxes. Hope to see more soon. Cheers from Texas.
Cheers David 👍

Very nice! What rifle are you using?
Thank you ...243 mate.
@@s.jpestcontrolservicesAn excellent choice. They are an emphatic fox killer in my experience.
Toes up time for foxes

Around 180 these were but easily see out to 250-300
What calibre?
243
At the price of getting better footage, you really put those lambs at risk. As a farmer, IM UNIMPRESSED!
Thanks for your comment 👍
Not sure I agree with your point, what would you have done differently with the benefit of hindsight ?
Get over it worzel.
Is the lambs alive..yes! Is the fox dead? Yes!!…that is alll!!🙄🍺🍺👍👍
@Juzzy520 👍
Afterbirth and disabled ,stillborn lambs foxes don't take healthy lambs ,
Thanks for your comment
Bull $#!+!
too slow
Explain?

@@s.jpestcontrolservices Cheers bud I’ll do that. The set up you have I assume is a full on rifle by the sound it makes and the impact on the foxes ?

muzzle flash spoilt it a bit
Good job.
Thank you 👍
