- Hey guys! Been waiting for a while to make this video but the weather was too perfect today to pass up the opportunity to apply this ceramic coating on my 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Special Edition.

This is only day 1 of the coating, so hopefully I can share some updates in the future! But I'm pleased with the results so far and the application process is really simple.

Yeah that’s a great idea! I’m sure at some point doing another coat of this stuff will help but it’s supposed to make cleaning the FJ a lot easier 👍
Ceramic coat will definitely last. I'm pretty sure you'll have some positive updates. Also, I'm not sure if applying a second coat (after the first coat dries) is really practical. Once it dries, it makes the plastic hydrophobic, so it'll bead on the surface and won't be absorbed into the trim.

I discovered the other day that the flat black window trim around the side windows is actually vinyl decals and you can buy them new from toyota piece by piece. I always thought it was paint but nope. When I ceramic treated them it acted different then all other parts, it did not gain any shine or look different.
Looks great. Did the shine last after it dried up? Esp the plastics..

I was going to order this product for my FJ, but wasn't sure if one bottle would be enough to cover the entire FJ. Did you need more than 1 bottle for complete coverage?
Nope I did not! On bottle seemed to go a long way

Ceramic coating doesn’t really protect against scratches, it protects against swirls maybe. It takes a lot of maintenance but your paint will definitely will be protected from the elements and last longer. I have it on my truck.

I need to check in on this, I think because of the off-road abuse it probably hasn't lasted quite as I would have hoped haha
I use off-road dirt and mud to protect. But this looks better

So sad: I love armor shield, but their advertisement with Trump firing a gun and an eagle carrying an Uzi, with the statement: If Trump and an eagle toting Uzi doesn’t scream liberty, what does? This was in my inbox and it is so sad when a company has to be political like that. I am sad to say I will never buy their products again. And I liked the eagle.
