My brand new purchased 2013 was Magma. It was a LOUD & IN YOUR FACE color. At the time, I loved it to death. I still do. Like a damn idiot, I sold my Magma FJ. Regretted it the very next day and every day thereafter. Fast forward to the day before yesterday, and I found a cream puff cherry 2013 in Calvary Blue with only 39k miles. She now lives at my house forever. 😊 Being very close to 60, I now appreciate the more subdued and sophisticated Calvary Blue. When my wife and I decided we were going to get an FJ, there just happened to be a 2012 Radiant Red available. So that's what we got. Love the colour. If I had to pick a different colour, it would be either Cement Grey or Heritage Blue.
Magma member checking in. Had a white FJ 1st then happened to pass by a magma on the lot. Started researching immediately and traded in the white FJ for my OJ cruiser.
Not one single bad colour in the list. Speaks to the charm of the vehicle itself. The list was well ordered too. Fun waiting for my colour to be called! Bronze medal!
Late FJ’er owner here. Found a 2010 Army Green (white top) model back in December 2022 so I’m still new lol. It’s the base 6 speaker one. Loving it. Recently upgraded the Stock 6X9s with PowerBass OE692-TY. Not bad. DIY’er btw lol I will keep the stock radio tho, might add amp and subwoofer. But will have those put in. Wish there was a plug and play for those. I do like the all green look, was going to have it painted but decided not too. It seems hard to dress it up but it’s clean as it is. Great video. I’m glad to be apart of this community. Was looking at 4Runners before. Came from a decade of driving an Avalon, 3rd Gen.
Hi!! Hope you still liking your Army Green FJ!! When you upgraded to the PowerBass speakers can you tell the difference? Did you decide on the the Amp/Subwoofer?
@@cdf8821 Thank you. I am 👍🏾 Yes, a huge difference but I did not get the amp or a subwoofer, instead I updated the radio with the Kenwood DPX594BT and I installed it myself. Plug and play, you just need the wiring harness. The stock radio was ok, but it still wasn’t hitting the full power of the speakers, there was a little change but not enough. Adding the Kenwood eliminated getting a amp and subwoofer. The sound is clear, the bass?, man, just know you would think I have a amp and subwoofer inside. Those 6x9s are the truth with a 3rd party radio.
I saw a Radiant Red 2012 Trail Teams on a Toyota dealer lot back in 2012. Believed it was something special so I bought it, 10 years later still going strong. Awesome video!
My 2007 FJ is Titanium Metallic. I love the color because it always looks clean and scratches aren't seen as well, but an FJ will look great in any color.
It took a while, but I finally found a 2013 Magma FJ. I'll never lose it in a parking lot, for sure. Love it, from it's funky, cool retro look to its 3 windshield wipers and suicide doors. I wish Toyota had added fog lights in the side bumper wings, and the ability to let the rear passenger windows down. I even like the JBL radio with the CD player, even though pairing my phone was a pain. People ask me all the time... 1. What is it? And, 2. Do I want to sell it? I've had crazy offers for it. Nope. Not selling.
There were 2 different silver colors; Titanium Metallic was 07-08 while Silver Fresco Metallic was offered 09-2014, so you have the Silver Fresco Metallic
My FJ is a 2013 Trail Team, my daily car is a Yaris 2019 Cement Grey with a Black top and my 4x4 trailer is a Tentrax Ascend Cement Grey... I like that color.
@@FJX2000_Productions Yes. My second favorite color is the 2012 Trail Team red. By the way I like the picture from the FJ Summit... I was at the last 2 editions of the FJ Summit in 2018 and 2019. Really like Colorado and Utah for all the available trail, we don't have trail like that in Québec ☹

Happy to hear you chiming in! I figured no one had ever gotten this deep into FJ colors, especially internationally, and with color codes so I figured I would cover it all!
I don’t know which one is my favorite. I’m just happy that Toyota has decided to bring back some of these colors on todays models of cars. Sadly I really wish they would let you choose from all these colors instead of a specific year one. I just recently pre ordered a solar octane 4Runner. I do like the bright orange but I really like calvary and cement gray. Oh well. Thanks for the info and video. P.S, you may have interested me to buy an fj of my own someday.
Just picked up an '08 today in Brick color. It's an ok color for a daily driver. The dealer had a black one and an Army Green one too and I liked the Brick best seeing them all lined up. I like the Voodoo blue and the Magma( I think that's the orange color) ones better though but there were none in my area. So, I guess I'll be on the lookout for a Magma or a Voodoo blue and if I'm going to have 2, I'll make the second one a 6 speed manual.
I actually love the Brick color. Wanted to find that one specifically, but a black one came up for sale that was from TX, so no frame rust beat out my color preference.
@luchaDor I'm in Iowa and the one I just got has some rust starting on the frame and rear axle. It spent 2/3 of it's 95k miles in Florida so ita not as bad as it could be. I just don't have time to travel south and get a completely clean one. That being said, this next weekend I will have it on the hoist at work completely treating the underside with Fluid Film. This will stop it from getting any worse.
I have a 2013 TT Fj, I almost bought a 2007 Voo Doo blue, it had close to 200k miles on it, then this 2013 TT popped up and I bought it immediately. It's my daily driver, just turned 130k on it and runs great, only a starter and alternator over the 4 yrs I've had it.
I feel pretty lucky to have found the 2013 cement gray trail teams edition. Spent almost 6 months looking for a FJ and I always told myself finding a trail teams was next to imposible. I wish I could download pictures over here to share at least one.
I would have had army green (to most wanted color in the market especially TT edition), cement gray (coolest IMO) and sandstorm as top 3! Red is just not for everyone, and voduu blue is so common that actually takes away how cool the color is! Calvery blue would had been great choice for top 3 just because how rare it is on FJ and what it represents....love your videos! Please keep them coming!
Sun fusion here. Surprised how many FJs there are in my area. (central KY) We were in Durango Colorado last summer and it seemed like every tenth vehicle was an FJ.
The Red Fury color, in Australia at least, was not two tone because two tone red and white is reserved for emergency vehicles. Also in Australia the color keyed door inserts was standard across all years.
I first purchased a 2007 Black Cherry and drove it for twelve years. Later I purchased my current ride, a 2008 Sand Storm. On both, I really loved the two tone color scheme. I thought it had a retro look that paid homage to its heritage. I am not a big fan of the silver trim on the FJ. I blacked out my 2007 and am in the process of doing the same on my 2008. That being said, I think the solid Army Green and solid Cement Grey Trail Team Special Editions would be my first choice if I had the option. Regardless of color, the Fj has been a great vehicle to own and drive.
Yeah I always recommend blacking out the trim too, it just makes it look better! But you can also black out the trim yet paint the grille white just like the 2014 TTUE, and that can look super retro cool as well.
Can't go wrong with Voodoo Blue. I have an Army Green FJ, with roof wrapped in True Timber Mixed Pine. I have soon on for sale that had the color of Mamba Orange, which is my favorite. Not sure if it is a spec edit. color, or just some random one, but it looked awesome.

I learned a lot from you and appreciate this very much.
Please keep up the great work,
Kind regards!
Love it
