I am about to take my Oral and Checkride, I use Foreflight but still do a nav log for every flight. I am based at Waupaca and will be doing my check-ride In Clintonville most likely with Shane yet as short of a flight that is between the two I still do one.
Same is true in Central Texas. I’m still a student pilot, but I have an X-naut case for my iPad Pro. I hope it works as advertised.
Christmas came early, thanks bro! Great video

@ 13:20 i’m lost, I’ve always been using the right window under density altitude to calculate TAS
The right side is for altitude calibration not airspeed but also your e6b might have them swapped not every e6b is made the same way
sometimes im amazed how technologically advanced aircraft are but we use stone age methods to flightplan.
Ifr flight planning is a bit more in depth
"My iPad is hot and shut off." Just one more reason to use Android. LOL. But, how is an Xcountry lesson NOT an Airspace lesson?
Android does the same thing
