An absolutely stunning looking and playing Gibson Custom L5 Wes Montgomery. The pinnacle of Gibson archtops.
Made by Custom Shop Art & Historic division of the Gibson Custom Shop in 2001.
A unique and magnificent instrument in very good condition. There are some signs of play, some very minor scratches and a couple of little touch ups as photographed. Great fret life, super action and neck relief. Strung with Thomastik 12’s. Replacement scratch plate, much better quality than the original! Original hard case.
Warm, rich tone which belongs in the hands of a jazz professional or discerning collector. Comes with original hard case. This represents a truly rare opportunity to acquire the holy grail of jazz archtops.
