That streamerbans bot on Twitter was working overtime for god's sake, in the span of an hour about 3-6 streamers got banned, could be more, not sure, lost count. I even managed to predict someone's ban, scrolled around the art section, saw a girl drawing boobs, minutes later after she painted them the whole thing froze, one refresh later and boom, gone. Saruei wasn't safe either despite having 3 staff members watching.
It's a damn nightmare.

Of course there are kids that search porn online, which is why its best for parents to have porn blockers and other options as well to monitor that behavior. Now these porn blockers might not even detect these, it makes porn more readily available to kids on a website that was known for gaming and recreational activity publicly. It's like walking into a bakery and then finding a stripping next to the counter that in itself is extremely hard to manage. Instead of creating these new rules they should've just banned the hot tub streamers and e girls abusing the rules. Most likely won't happen though cause rules are just agreements to favor businesses / companies and are always open to be broken if it benefits themselves even if it potential damages their image for a quick buck and social currency.

She's part of/formerly part of this group called VT Rainbow (I'm not entirely sure if they're still active or not), and quite a few of other former group members have called her out over this. From what I understand, she tried to oust one of the more popular members of the group, and it failed. There's also her role in slandering this VTuber named Taiga (I forget what he was accused of; she didn't start the rumors, but she did spread them, and when confronted with evidence debunking the allegations against Taiga, didn't take down the post with the accusations).
One of the few people I will outright say no to a collab with, no matter the incentive. Sensitive Society could probably make an entire video on her (I kind of wish he would).

Marina deserved what she got. Her actions of sending hate mobs and slandering content creators were absolutely repulsive. And a lot of harm was caused over some video game. Silvervale, Pikamee, and countless others were harrsssed because of Marina, but just because people like Harry Potter doesn’t mean that they condone the author’s actions, I certainly don’t and Harry potter has been something very special to me since childhood for very personal reasons. But after everything that has happened I just have to ask, who is the actual villain in all this, the person who is the topic of the drama or the person harassing others because of the drama?

If things keep going as bad as it is right now, Twitch could possibly get taken off the app stores for violation of TOS regarding inappropriate content, and I'm hoping that will push them to rethink this.

Reminds me of the topic I have to answer on art subject, a write an essay with the question "can pornography be considered as art?"
Its quite a hard question for me knowing some nude art is actually an art while some are just nudity disguised as an art. So I simply answered with, if it's purpose is to appreciate the artist on how they portray a human body, sculpted and painted... It's an art for me. If the purpose is for arousal then it's pornography.
These 'artist', exaggerates the private parts that are usually covered. While those who shows their body that's barely covered, how is it an art if they are just flaunting their breast and ass to attract viewer?
Sculpted and painted nudity usually portrays the whole body as it is, no exaggerated boobs or any of those things that makes a degenerate horny and make people disgusted.

People who say it’s the parent’s responsibility aren’t wrong but at the same time all parents see twitch with 13+ video game steaming site they aren’t going to know you can see stuff like this and it’s just unrealistic for a parent to make sure constantly, unless they literally follow their kid around the house when they have the phone out, not everyone has both parents at home to keep an eye on them 24/7 and even with restrictions on the phone twitch is allowed at 13 so parents aren’t going to think twice about it unless they actually see the “corn”
Artsy nudity is beautiful depending on how they do it, BUT CHILDREN ARE ON THE PLATFORM!!! Children shouldn’t NOT be able to access the streams. They need to add a 18+ section!!
I’m all in for any type of artistic freedom but the main problem still stands on how poorly implemented was all of this. Keeping the +13 rating while having no blurring on thumbnails, no new category to hide all of those type of streams and actively recommending that content on the main page were all problems that should have been taking into account before releasing TOS. They really believed reading a microscopic tag underneath a literal flashing was enough to keep those unfit for the topic / not interested away from the "exposure".
Additionally, allow me to update you. Today they have reverted ALL TOS recent changes, everything has went almost back to normal due to a massive uprise on bans, some of them well deserved because they took it too far without comprehending the rules, but even those who complied with the rules till the last detail were banned (most of them being vtuber artists, meanwhile cam girls are immune to that, so... nice favoritism there Twitch, quite the “Gaming” website, much wow).
The higher ups at Twitch just opened Pandora's Box.

I have stood behind twitch for a long time but I can't justify straight up nudity. Minors will be able to see it and it will further damage female streamers representation on the platform. As a female streamer, I put a lot of effort into my stream and I am constantly facing issues on the platform but now I worry people will just see me as another girl abusing this new policy.
As a recovering porn addict, this makes me so sad... I was 13 years old when I first saw porn online, then just like a drug, I wanted more, more, more and more. Fast forward 5 years right after highschool, I had barely any friends, no way I could talk to girls, waaaaay too scary - just a loser straight up, alone in my room with all the online porn I could ever want.

I would be completely fine with these changes, happy even, if they could just appropriately distinguish between 13+ content and 18+ content. It’s good that Twitch is trying to avoid unfair and ridiculous moderation on their end, but you should only ever see/encounter streams with 18+ content if you are an adult looking for the content.

Everyone who knew that they had been streaming for all ages and always had underage fans who watch every single stream but didn't care and made 18+ stream anyway should really think about their actions.
I watched Asmons videos related to the topic. More context is needed. Soci3ty, watch his videos. His tweet is widely speculated. I too took the tweet out of context first and thought Huge L but after learning his actual points in his videos and seeing it. Makes more sense. Due to the changes Boobie streamers "should" no longer be promoted on front page and recommended. Thats is a W. Even though other changes are a big L. I also won't let my family under the age on twitch because it's not safe place for underage audience regardless of Twitch Tos. I'm an adult who knows the platform and knows what is on it. I used it in my youth, and it had stuff on their back in its beginning my own parents did not approve of me listening to. Its only gotten worse. It's kind of like Roblox, made for kids and peds to go after kids. It SHOULD be kid safe but it's not.
