Useful Idiots are what the communists in the USSR called the intellectual class, because they were completely bought in to the Communist ideal and would do the politician’s dirty work for them. The issue was that they started a hate bandwagon against super mega claiming they kept silent about her SA, when in reality she told them she doesnt want it to be known and to just fire the guy without telling the audience. Its insane how she went and backstabbed them after they actually not only listened but supported her after the SA. She also used the su*cide of one of their friends against them, syaing they are heartless cause supernega made a joke about it once, about his own bestfriend as a coping mechanism. The SA was real, everything else was a lie and just sick.

As an art nerd, Jackson Pollock is literally the worst artist of modern humanity. He does no work and puts some random meaning behind his "art," and for some reason he gets paid for it. He's basically Taylor Swift as a painter.

As an artist, it pisses me off to no end whenever people like Ethan would even attempt to convince everyone that Modern "Art" is real art, when in reality it's nothing but splotches of paint on a canvas, scratches of pencil on a paper, a blob of clay, or even the default Cube in Blender.
Art is so much more. It about passion, skill, creativity, and genuine love of one's own craft all while Modern Art is nothing but boring, greedy, and lazy pieces of media ever.

@@rootfish2671 Porn artists put more dynamic shots and detail into their work than plenty of these modern museum artists do. I don't always agree with the content (some of them go into "man-made horrors beyond my comprehension" territory), but for better or worse I can acknowledge the skill.
People like ethan are the main reason I avoid interacting with politics, I don't want to become anything like Ethan so I make sure to avoid talking about politics.
Also, the first step into getting people to actually considering what you are saying is true is not sounding like a condescending asshole with a superiority complex.

I’ve started getting into Destiny lately, he’s a leftist. But he seems like a huge moderate who is willing to work with others knowing how differing opinions and perspectives work. I’m firmly anti-war (only really believe, myself, that war is right when life or liberty is infringed upon), so some of his military interventionism is pretty iffy to me, but I also understand that, strategically speaking, having the biggest weapons can be a vital role to instilling peace.

As a former art student, I admire old art because it showcases alot more technical skill. Modern art does not always do this, personally don't like artwork that is just paint splatter but that's fine, you like what you like and no, not all art has political meaning. I hated art in highschool because all they wanted us to do was talk about the social or political meanings the art showcased. I never made art to have meaning or symbolism specifically, it was just pretty and we were never allowed to just make something pretty.

As a person who wishes to become an artist I hate modern art I think it’s all boring and confusing when in the past everything was pretty and simple and it shook your souls just thinking someone made a very good piece of work from their own hands

I stopped my right-wing phase a few years ago because of how cringey some conservative UA-camrs have become, especially during the COVID era, and started watching more left-leaning people, and, jeez, they ain’t any better. Some of them are just obsessed with preaching being the better person and nitpicking any small action of a person that goes against their beliefs. Conservatives are just nuts and cringey, but leftists get unhinged and really aggressive if your whole belief isn’t left. Meanwhile, in my experience, right-wingers are pretty chill if you have some left-leaning beliefs, but thats just my experience, I can't speak for all.

My experience as well. I’m a Christian chick who happens to be queer. It wasn’t my Christian-conservative mom who told me to kill myself, but the group of LGBTQ+ people I was trying to befriend had NO QUALMS telling me to slit my wrists, to choke and die, when they found out I was a Christian. Really hurt, but I had just been numbly shocked for about a week. Then I saw all the hypocrisy from the left AND right and it all made sense. I miss normal, non-extremist people who think for themselves.

I also have two queer Christian classmates who shared similar stories with me once we graduated from our Christian school to college, and wow, it was a real culture shock for them to get attacked because of their religion by their fellow queer classmates in college since they always thought the lgbtq+ community is always about acceptance. Because of this experience, they are also too afraid to share their religious beliefs and have distance theirselves from any extreme left leaning lgbtq+ people.
Tons of UA-camrs and big right-wing/conservative personalities are only in it for the clout, they're as good as any random sketchy politician. But yeah, you're absolutely right. It's actually not one person - it's a channel that produces a lot of content arguing things from a conservative point of view, and it has a lot of hosts (IIRC, they've had people like Tucker Carlson and Ben Shapiro on as guests for their videos) named after one of the founders, Dennis Prager - and despite their name, they aren't an actual university.

Alright, so as an artist ( I go to art school) You can do this kind of impressionst type of art, but you still have to get your basics first. You can't be a good artist if you don't get colour theory of proportions of a face or a body. All good artist should know this. Of course art is subjective, but in the older art you could clearly see that the artist knew thier basics.
I remember going to the national art museum and seeing a room given to an artist's work, which were literally blank canvases with clouds and penises scribbled on them like a 10-year-old made it. That is the kinda art ethan would make and expect praise for it.
While I may not have an art degree, I have 14 years of art experience and hereby confirm Ethan has no credentials to speak on that of art itself

Personally I think modern art uses the "Art is subjective" as more of an excuse for narcissism and laziness, more often than not.
As an artist Ethan sounds like he has never made art in his life, as MOST of my works have no political points to them just a feeling an experience or just a memory and art can have amazing deep meaning and still lokk pleaseing but alot of modern art doesn't make me feel anything because you can kinda tell they didn't have anything but money on the mind. I looked up Thomas Kincaid (the artist the SolarSands video is about) and his paintings look genuinely well made. I paint and realize how hard it is to do something like that, rather than splatter some colors and throw some random meaning, and talentless hacks like Ethan don’t understand it because they’ve never made anything creative. Ironically talentless artists are revered in the art world and make millions while I’ve seen kids in my art classes make way better and creative pieces who don’t get nearly enough attention compared to those hacks.
People are so scared of offending someone nowadays that they caused an entire flip in the beauty standards for basically everything.

Im a web comic artist, that was recommended to the art institute of dallas for my talent for art all throughout my highschool years. The only reason i didnt attened was due to finances. But all of this asside, Ethan has no idea what hes talking about. Hes coating all of this as if its factual. Art isnt and has never been political on its face. Its actually inherently a traditional practice. The only way art is political is if someone makes their art political. And in my profession as a web comic artist, no one cares about politics,. They only care if ur story and ur art is good, and addicting to consume. Ethan dosent speak for a collective, because hes not really in the art fields to know what the market mostly likes.
