It’s very strange how in the last decade folk are just completely unable to accept that folk have different opinions and won’t agree with you 100% of the time, and instead of accepting this as part of life, that we need differing opinions so we can learn a different point of view or see what common ground and compromise can be reached, folk see it as a personal attack and the highest offence if someone’s opinion is different from theirs, that it’s somehow unacceptable. Mind you same folk screech about how morally superior they are whilst sending violent threats to others, but it’s still just utterly bewildering knowing folk are actually so sensitive that a different opinion is grounds for a hit job.
Even though this has been a case for much longer, it's quite a lot more noticeable even among so called adults. The superiority complex and ego trips I've seen from some people are to the point where they should stay off social media and get some help. For those who don't know about the stellar blade situation essentially the company making the game promised the game wouldn't hold back on the gore and spicy content in game a lot of people making their female characters overweight and ugly to stop "unrealistic body standards" in games they argued this with stellar blade but the main character is based off a real person the digital release has a update before you can play it but the disk doesn't
I always thought the idea of "Unrealistic body standards" in a video game to be really laughable, unless the game is based in reality, it shouldn't matter about how the body is designed, it's like the small group of people crying over fantasy armour being impractical or too exposing, because realism should always apply to a game that most likely has mythical creatures and magic in it, it just sounds braindead to me

The bounty wasn't for Asmon but for Grummz, who started a petition to get Stellar Blade's censorship removed. They changed several of her outfits and made the game less gory, after the developers promised there wouldn't be censorship. There's likely more to it, but that's the simplest way to put it. Twitter weirdos don't like Grummz so the weirdo Tone whatever put a $20k bounty out on Grummz and when he was called out he ran away and privated his account then deleted it. That's who the girl was offering the $30k to "get rid of".

Direct calls to action that involve violence don’t fall under free speech. Obviously she phrased it as a joke but I don’t think it would sound the same being read out by a lawyer in a serious tone. Either way it’s just irresponsible to say that on a live stream. Especially since she’s in the social circle of all these people that say you have direct influence over your fans and that you as a streamer are responsible for your audience. Obviously that opinion is ridiculous but there’s always going to be someone unhinged watching you and if you make a direct call to action, it’s likely that someone might act on it.

A friend put a bounty on someone for $5000 i rang police when they told me..i found out later they had just been playing gta 5...i was charged with wasting police time..
For most people, this is just entertainment and they'll forget about it as soon as they watch the next video or reel or whatever they watch...but think about the targeted person: Every time he goes outside and sees someone, he might think _"Is that guy following me? Did he see that video and is taking it seriously? Is he going to try something?!"_ and this happens every single time he goes outside...
