- I made a 31 second intro for this one. After that, my friend and Caterpillar product specialist takes us for an in-depth walk around of the all new D5.
I would of released it sooner but I was unhappy with the wind noise in the audio and I recently said the hell with it. - Авто та транспорт
Always good review about cat machinery thanks.
Great video. That's a great dozer. Does it push well? The T series pushed great.
Great info on the dozers.
Cameraman needs a wider angle lens though. Couldn't keep the the dozer and the guy completely in frame at the same time.
wet dirt in Az? lucky! have not had any rain here for the past 7 months
We run the 6N and 5K with cat grade control for finish grading, great machines. Still don't know why cat changed the numbers on the dozer's ,makes no sense to me.
to make them simpler to identify for new people. That's what I was told
Good❤
Can you the d5 with angle blade with the outside mounted c frame
No
Too bad Caterpillar didn’t add an extra 100 litres/ 25 gallons capacity in fuel tank, can run these empty in 9 hours if worked hard.
Thats not good 😐. 12hr shifts on fires. Out of fuel would not be good!
👍👏💗✌
What's CAT building Dozers or Automobiles, Just Ridiculous ... with all those Gadgets...Come-On Caterpiller. I used to do all that Dozering by the Seat Of My Pants !!!
You “used” to is the key
Yeppers!!!
I get that technology has to advance but seriously..... Pretty soon kiss operators good bye as God and electronic junk take full control. All the skill is totally taken out of operating. Just push a button and auto set grade auto set the cut auto set the slope, auto set the power to the ground/RPMs.... I'd personally rather operate a D6D, D5H, D5M, D8K, etc over any of these. Mechanical dozers did work just fine and you could actually fox them on site without an IT degree.
Paul Gorefiend its all about money now, a GPS equipped dozer with a real operator can cut in a road box or get to grade or design by himself. Don’t need a surveyor or grademan, dozer man becomes a one man show.
@@cascapediastjules8796 This is the right answer. I've heard people say "now you can put your worst operator in the new machines and get almost as good a job". Probably a bit of hyperbole, but the point is that these machines can make an average operator pretty good, and a good operator great. Lowering the skill ceiling and raising the skill floor is good for businesses who can afford the tech.
