I have a JL audio RD1500/1 amplifier. I am thinking about buying 3x eton 2x2 = 1.33ohm. 3x eton is 1800rms, jl audio Amp is 1500rms at 1ohm. Is the amplifier too weak? I'm thinking about a closed box or ported for techno, hardstyle, trap, dubstep music. Which case will be better (if ported that can be tuned to 28-30hz??) and what about amp?

If you work with 3 subs we always recommend to use a 6 channel amp if possible. So you could use one channel amp pair for the double voice coil of one subwoofer, that means you have 2 x2 ohms impedance and all 3 subwoofers than are connected in the amp, thats faster and better for the inductivity of the voice coils. ETON POWER 150.6 would suit or an amp that is a little bit more powerful. We cannot evaluate your planed setup with the JL audio amp, cause we do not know how the amp is performing? BR teamETON
