Keep trying, I'm just starting to learn to crochet. I got upset the other day while practicing just doing rectangles, but I've been doing tutorials for two days now had a lot of start-over rounds but I just kept on going until I got the hang of it. ^_^; I'll sometimes start the first step over multiple times until I get it the way I like it. This is my second project and despite it only having 7 legs it's still cute as heck!

I know exactly how you feel, I started on this pattern and had to rip it out a million times, and when I finally got it finished it had 5 legs. Now I am pretty good at amigururmi. Once I understood every step, it came easier and easier. ;) ~Happy crafting!

For your next tutorial maybe let us know how many stitches we should have after every round, I’m a new crocheted and I find it helpful when videos let me know how many stitches I should have after every row just in case I missed one or have too many I can go back and fix what I missed.
    Thanks! Xoxoxo
