    I've had this same exhaust on my '13 JK 6MT for about a year, and it's one of my favorite and easiest mods that I've done to the Jeep. I wanted something that would give it a little more rumble and attitude without being raspy, cheap sounding, or obnoxiously loud or droney, and after reading a ton of reviews I chose the Magnaflow. It has the sound I was looking for and a year later I'm still very happy with it.

      That's great you obviously made a great choice, and I found as time goes bye it even sounds better. It's a great exhaust all around. Unfortunately I don't have that exhaust anymore because I sold that jeep, and bought a gladiator. Eventually the mods will start on that but nothing too crazy.

    Just installed this exhaust system this evening. Took it out for a quick spin on the back roads and the highway to have a listen. Man, I'm very satisfied with it. The installation took an hour and it looks and sounds fantastic! Thanks for the video. It helped me decide.

    Nice video man... Great pointing out a very good way to get the exhaust off of those grommets!

    No welding required, just one bolt which was very easy to access. the exhaust is the magna flow dual black, cat back, part# 15160. had it on for about six months now, sounds better now than when I first installed it. only problem is that I find the Jeep has a problem always or never knowing when to change gears, and when I'm going about 120 km I have a lot of drone noise. so put these two things aside I still love it.

    That's great, I'm glad I could help. wait another three months at least then it will sound even better than it does now.

    I just installed this on my 2011 JK. louder than I thought it would be and a bit of drone at certain rpms. Also had to cut the old rusted clamp off and bang the hell out of the old muffler to get it off the exhaust pipe. Took almost and hour from start to finish. This is an axle back though not cat back. It’s basically just a muffler. It about $534

    No upgrade to the catalytic converter. literally only one bolt job, very easy to install, and as I said in one other of my replies it sounds even better now after a few months. my Jeep is also four years old and the colour is winter chill. I thought it was about time to do some upgrades, so far I've replaced the exhaust, tires, installed a custom front bumper, and installed 2" wheel spacers, and next I think is a new air intake.

      I just had 2.5 suspension lift and this exhaust installed a couple weeks ago (rims and 35's are enroute) and I love the sound of this system. The only problem I have is that it doesn't sit even. Left tip pushes out further than the right and and the right tip sits higher then the left. It's very noticeable from every angle.
      PS...I have the Winter Chill too. They definitely stand out

    did you upgrade the catalytic converter at all for this? I have the Arctic Edition also in Winter Chill and after 4 yrs, I'm just starting to make some upgrades. I've been looking at this exhaust system for a while now. love the sound

    • @andredillon4943
      @andredillon4943  6 років тому

      Dayna Kearns sorry it took me so so long to reply, but as for your question I did not do any other upgrades to the exchaust only the new Magna flow which now a tally sounds so much better. I'm so glad you have this jeep, there are so few of them and it's a real joy to know people love it as much as I do.

    Hello Andre, Im a bit confused. You mentioned that your MagnaFlow exhaust is Cat-back and the part number is #15160. The product number you are referring to is Axle-back. Which one have you installed. Have you bought the #15160 which is only the muffler installed with one bolt ? or the whole Cat-back system?
    I heard that the sound really differs if you purchase it Axle-back (quieter) while the Cat-back is kinda louder

    • @andredillon4943
      @andredillon4943  6 років тому +3

      Hassan Khalil, good observations yes you are right I made a mistake in calling it a cat back which it is not. It is the one bolt dual outlet muffler, part# 15160. And yes you are right again it is quieter, and has a smoother rumble than the actual cat back. Thanks for taking the time to watch my video and taking the time to write to me too correct my mistake. Take care.

    Did you have to Weld anything together? And how hard was the install for you? What type of exhaust is this and how much did it cost?P.S I have no experience in exhaust systems but I want to get one.

    • @cody.meadows
      @cody.meadows 8 років тому +3

      Did you even watch the video? He answered all of those questions. Its bolt on. Its not hard to install if you have a basic set of tools. The part number is in the video title. I'm not trying to be mean but if you not willing to do any research or even listen then you have no business installing an exhaust on your car.

    So what's the difference between this exhaust and the flowmaster outlaw. I know this one is a cat back and the out law is an axel back but is that the only difference?

    • @sahejsethi3114
      @sahejsethi3114 5 років тому

      They both are axle backs.. The outlaw is the loudest sound you can get from their exhausts and this is a bit quieter than that

    • @andredillon4943
      @andredillon4943  5 років тому

      Hey Brandon, no there is not one spot of rust, literally none at all. As for the sound, I think it sounds better now than when I put it on. It was definitely a wise choice to go with magnaflow.

    • @Airkoay
      @Airkoay 5 років тому

      Thanks Andre, I live in PA and I'm a bit concerned with our road salt used during winter. I have seen other stainless (so-called) versions that are much cheaper such as the Metal Mulisha, but they do rust after less than a year. I'm deciding either this Magnaflow or Flowmaster Outlaw. I don't want it too loud which makes me differ from Flowmaster. Where did you bought yours from?

    • @andredillon4943
      @andredillon4943  5 років тому +1

      Hey Brandon, I live in Toronto Canada which we have huge amounts of salt in the winter, but so far so good.i am really impressed that it hasn't effected it in anyway. And for it being too loud, I wouldn't call it loud really! It has more of a deep low rumble. This jeep is also my family vehicle so I can't have anything too loud so it fits us all perfect. If I get a chance I can take a quick pic of the exhaust and maybe even record what it sounds like now so you can get a better idea of what I'm talking about.

    • @Airkoay
      @Airkoay 5 років тому

      Cool, I'm in the same boat as well. I have a 2017 JKU and don't want it to get too loud for my little kiddo at the back seat. I would very much appreciated if you can send me any updates on video. Thank you.

If you feel comfortable sending me an email or something I can send it to you, then afterward I can delete your email. Obviously my intention is to share this info with you and help you out if I can.

      The wheels and rims are stock like I had mentioned I just keep them very clean when I clean the tires with Tire foam I clean the rims with it as well and then wipe access cleaner off and dry it with a rag and it makes them look spectacular I have another video if you would like to check it out of me putting a set of stt Pros on my Jeep after this video and you can see the rims a whole lot better and I keep getting that question as well because they're in such good shape obviously this is 2019 and my Jeep is a 2012 and my rims still look that good

      Thank you, the color is called Winter Chill. Unfortunately I don't have it anymore. I sold it and bought a Gladiator Rubicon, then I sold that and now I have a Gladiator Mojave, which I have not had a chance to do a video on yet. Don't do too much video anymore, I past the torch to my 9 year old son and now he does the video of us off roading.
