Hi Ben, my AO render comes out too bright and I've googled but I still cannot fix the problem. Can you tell me which settings to change in order the get the rich white texture like you have? Thanks
Hello - are you using the ambient occlusion rendering plugin? Be sure you turn off hard shadows and increase the occlusion distance slider. Let me know if that works.
Hi Elmira, for these diagrams I did not worry about the scale of the people. I just quickly added them as a graphic element to enhance the drawings. See my perspective section tutorial for a trick to scale people in post production.
Absolutely! The biggest difference between using illustrator and photoshop is that your diagrams will be vector drawings. Check out some of my other videos to see a SketchUp to Illustrator workflow.
@@BenjaminNaudet i discovered your channel like 1 hour ago very good content can you consider making a tutorial on how to make 2d people likes the one used by BOW WOW on illustrator
You can download a free trial here: www.fluidinteractive.com/products/sketchup-extensions/ambientocclusion/ If you are a student, they will provide you with a very good student discount to purchase the extension.
@@BenjaminNaudet Thanks for the reply, I have downloaded the ambient light mask you mentioned. What I would like to ask is that the trees also look green in the line mode. In the six minutes and ten seconds of the video, where is the tool you clicked to download?
@@周廷哲-i1f At 6:10 in the video all I did was turn materials in my style editor and then I turned off edges. I did not use any extensions or extra tools.

Illustrator works just as well! I just wanted to show a different way to annotate drawings. I typically use both - specifically I prefer to do all my text annotations in Indesign and linework in Illustrator.

Could you share with me how to create the brush with 2-3 colors like your outline have done please?
Do yo mean the outline at 8:40? This is just a default photoshop brush with a color selected.

Thank you for the helpful tutorial. How do you make sure that your people are on the correct scale?

Can i get the render settings?
It’s been a while since I’ve used this plugin, but I don’t think I adjusted any of the default settings. I think I had the black and white mode on.
@@BenjaminNaudet thanks for your reply. You mean vray?
