Has anyone successfully deck swapped the Exway Flex Riot for something flatter, without those wheel flares? I'm curious about the wire in the board, if anyone has successfully got that out? It's an awesome board but damn those flares suck if you're tall with size 12 vans.
Thank you! I haven’t ridden the hub, but it’s very comparable based on what I’ve seen from other creators. The most notable differences would be that hubs are quieter, with the sacrifice of a tougher ride due to the thin urethane on the back wheels. Check out Portable Electric Vehicle and JohnPaulYT - both have belt vs. hubs comparisons on their channels! Either way - the Flex is a great board for the price 👍🏼
nice video. I know this was posted like 7 months ago but the boosted uses 3m belts and the exway it using 5m belts and the boosted's belts are probably looser than the exway's belts
Definitely one factor. It’s probably just a minor difference in belt tension. Neither has been adjusted so just wanted to add that point for anyone thinking about how easy it is to kick push. (Something that I always emphasize shouldn’t be a deciding factor in picking an e-board)
Right around 160 lbs. I'd say if you're over 180 lbs, you can probably expect to get a little less out of the board. But again, this was an aggressive ride! Portable Electric Vehicle has good reviews of the Flex as a heavier rider.

Boosted ain’t no joke! They just haven’t put out a product in three years :(. Tech progresses so fast. I’d probably take the flex over the stealth at the same price, to be honest. The flex is just so carvy and fun compared to boosted. Partially the deck shape, but also the trucks and bushings.

Honestly they aren't even loud when there are cars around you. They can't hear you from inside the car. Its only loud when people are walking
