There is no right or wrong. If you like it its good. There is only a right and wrong when it comes to your health. If meat is not heated up enaugh you might get sick.
@Pookz: English is not my main language but I dont think to "cook" something is a chemical term. At least in germany we have different terms when it comes to heating chemical substances. To be a smartass here: chemically speaking everything is "fully cooked" unless its 0°K. 😛

my thoughts exactly.... if you can't eat a steak (especially a goddamm filet) the way it was meant to be cooked (med rare to rare or slightly below medium), you shouldn't be eating a steak. as a former steak cook, nothing would make me cringe HARDER than cooking a one to leather, and knowing someone was going to drown it in A1 sauce...or worse, ketchup.
