+92bonny92 How is it good that he used the track in a bad movie like this? They call me trinity is a classic. This django unchained movie was pure hollywood trash.
If I made a homage like that on youtube it would get a strike within seconds. He has money he can buy the rights to use other people's work. Besides that music specifically made for scenes of other movies will not completely work with the scene of the new movie. But more importantly the movie itself was an insult to classic / spaghetti or even more modern day westerns.
Simon v. Cleef Everyone knows UA-cam copyright system is beyond stupid. Terrible argument. Your opinion. I think the song works exquisitely here and is a nice tip of the hat to the movie it references.
***** Homage has become another word for exactly copying another man's work... btw look again at the scene were it is used. The scene is completely stupid if you compare those of the originals.
Can any1one explain which movie was this referenced to? I know the song is from they call me trinity...so is the line "the fastest gun in the south" also from they call me trinity?
+Simon v. Cleef I've seen you say this on everyone's comment that had a different opinion to your own, just let the people enjoy it dammit XD I personally love this ending scene and song with it. It's hardly called "stealing" the song or anything ._. I respect your opinion but you don't need to spread it on every damn comment.
Isaque Lins I'm not a troll I have actual knowledge about good movies. That is not something you guys can say if you back up pure garbage like this. Also too much material of other movies is used, but that is what tarantino does everytime. I only have respect for his earlier works when he still tried to do something. But this is not even a good movie on it's own. And enjoying something isn't the same as it objectively being good. I also enjoyed movies in the past for simple things/reasons sometimes. It depends on what kind of things your looking for at a particular point. But I was objectively comparing this one with the ones that influenced tarantino.
Simon v. Cleef this movie has a great deal of humor, as well as seriousness at the same time. It's not overally dramatic and with DiCaprio as candy, can't get over it. He just sells the character so well. The acting in some spots was shotty, but overall it wasn't trying to be too serious, or funny. It played on both bits very well as well as depicting a relatable real topic. These events maybe not to the extent the film depicts, happened during the western times.
When I saw this movie in the theater, I had goosebumps during this scene just for this song. It took me right back at the 70's watching Bud & Terence...
Probably one of the most badass scenes in Cinema History, and still, it gets you right in the feels with that Dr. Schultz memory... Legendary, absolutely iconic.
When the music from Trinity started, everyone cheered in the theatre (I am Italian) because it comes from a very popular Italian spaghetti western comedy which is very loved in our
0:33 that grin just left me with thinking "Look at this fuckin badass!" and a huge smile on my face. Absolutely stellar direction by Quentin Tarantino.
I actually felt pretty bad when Dr. Shultz died in the movie . The sadness intensified with his quote "they are going to call you the fastest gun in the south". He really guided Django throughout the movie. Christoph Waltz What a brilliant actor.🙏🙏
When Django pays his respects and says Auf Wiedersehien I always tear up cause it means “till I see you again” he expects to see his friend in the afterlife
To be a badass you are not supposed to look at explosions, but when you are The Fastest Gun in the South you put your sunglasses on to look at your work, fully satisfied, and then your chick goes crazy. And then your horse dances, of course. Because you are The Fastest Gun in the South.
@Mph16 51999 a quote in James Cameron's Titanic 1997 film too when Bruce Ismay tried to persuade Captain Smith to go full steam ahead by saying "make the morning papers, go out with a bang, aye - EJ?"
"You know what they're going to call you? The fastest gun in the south." I'm so glad that little scene exists, so the last thing we see of Doc is not that sad broken frame abandoned on the floor, but him as he was, djangos' mentor
I was a little kid living with my grandparents. I slept in a room with my mum, my uncle and my aunt (they were all very young), and my aunt loved the "Lo chiamavano Trinità" movies so much that once a month we would watch them in our room at night. This song was part of my childhood. When i watched this film on my pc on an illegal streaming platform for the first time when it came out and Tarantino dropped this song for the most perfect finale I had goosebumps and felt one of those few moments of vivid happiness. He brought me back to a happy place. Thank you Quentin. ❤
Notice that last second before the credits: Hilda picks up the rifle...kinda makes you wonder... What if Django taught hilda how to become a sharpshooter, and they had their own little adventure trying to get to the north...sequel maybe (kidding) Oh, and RIP Dr. K Shultz
Still getting goosebumps when hearing Lo Chiamavano Trinita in this movie, almost had tears in my eyes in the cinema. I love Spencer/Hill and Tarantino movies. Those two combined...
Maybe it was just me, but I thought this ending was perfect. The song, the explosion, the fact that Django has come full circle, and Brumhilde is free! This ending feels like the end of a grand adventure that you just went through. Whenever I see this, I have a big smile on my face. I only hope to make something just as perfect in the future when I start making movies. My hats off to Quentin Tarantino, for making the best western I've ever seen.
And they rode off to freedom. What new adventures awaited these two Americans, none could say for sure. But of one thing Django and Brunhilde were certain, never again would they be slaves.

This is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen and I love that Tarantino did this movie. This ending is incredible with the happiness in he and his wife’s face and the joy that they now have to be together forever. Beautiful....
It is good, but not as good as the original spagetti westerns they ripped off to make this one, check the original Django,Trinity(they used the intro here),the good the bad and the ugly, etc.

These two and a half minutes are better than hundreds of hours of Marvel. Tarantino is a legend, maybe the best director in this decade or even in this century
Beautiful Tribute to "lo chiamavano trinità" a classic italian movie (1970) with Bud Spencer (Carlo Pedersoli) and Terence Hill (Mario Girotti) 🇮🇹 Great Job Tarantino!

you know when he had memories of his friend Shultz. That really tells you what kind of bond Django really had with his friend. Up until he died that is.
The phrase "Django you are a big son of the b....!!" is a clear reference to the "Hey Blond you know what you are? Just a dirty son of the b....!!" in the final of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly....Wonderful tribute.
Tarantino SUPERIORE!
I love this ending precisely of the contrast it makes with the whole film. Django and Hilda have suffered too much; enslaved, in a forbidden love, seld separately, beated up, she was used for sex with the mandingos, he was naked and practically doing a death march at the start of the film, and before the scene were he break free, things got darker and hopeless than anytime before in the whole film. And then this scene, the happy, epic music, the style he simply takes his revenge, and the happiness both of them have when riding to a new future, now knowing how to defend themselves. The film is flawed, but this is one of those few films in which a totally happy ending that practically comes from nowhere fits better than a sadder (albeit more realista) ending. Nuff said, I would pay money for an spinoff of Django and Hilda roaming America direction to the north.
There's a 7 part comic book sequel called Django/Zorro. Haven't fully read it yet but from what I can tell Django and Hilda settled down somewhere in Chicago, but Django still works (mostly in the east since the bounty for him is in the west) as a bounty hunter, sending Hilda the money every time he gets a job done. Out there he meets an old Spanish man.....well I don't need to say too much about the man, we can guess who he is...... Hoping that Hilda was in the comic at some point even just in the end
the end is the same like the good the bad and the ugly and the song is from '' they still call me trinity '' . all from spaghetti western . those were movies from the 70s . loved them.
Ahh, Dr. Schultz telling Django that they're going to call him "The fastest gun in the south" to the theme of They Call me Trinity... What a masterpiece

BUD E TERENCE, eternamente GRAZIE!!!!
This remind me the final scene of "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly", when Tuco yells "Blondie, you son of a b*".
But tje difference is that Tucco is the main character in the GB&U whereas Steven is just a secondary villain who gets blown to bits.
I know; can't be the same, obviously.
Uh, right! Hahaha the good the bad and the ugly is a badass film
@@MultiBOZA Secondary? He's the actual antagonist of the whole film.
And the song come from another phenomenal western movie directed by another italian director,Enzo Barboni. The song is the theme of "They Call Him Trinity" with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill
This gives me the shivers everytime....
how else could it have ended??? it was perfect, this scene just shouts out justice
This song bumped the film up a notch or two for me. Awesome. Reminded me of growing up watching Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. Lo chiamavano Trinita. :)
