OK, so I’m officially your fan and I’m officially subscribed. This video may be a year old, but I just found it. Very intrigued I’m half Hispanic half Italian living in New Mexico. I’m a pretty good cook for both Italian, American and Spanish food. Learned much from my grandmothers both of them, but they’re not here anymore so I don’t get that step-by-step instruction like I’m getting from your videos. From ingredients to substitutions to instructions from the basic to the more complex you make it seem easy and very doable. I’ve already tried this recipe and I’m very happy with the outcome. My family loved it. I made this before, but I’ve never made it with vodka. My grandmother had I was afraid to I was afraid that it would have the vodka taste in it, but followed your instructions and your video to a tea came out delicious thank you. I’ll be following. I’ll be watching you cook like my grandmother’s both of them and trust me you could never get a bigger compliment than that !!! Thanks again looking out for more of your recipes. Maybe you can do a lasagna soup I do one, but I’d like to see your take on it. Maybe a couple I adopt mine depending on what I have in my refrigerator and what I have on that sometimes but I’d like to your take on the lasagna soup. Something nice and warm and hearty for the cold winter’s here.
I enjoy these videos because it's like an actual cooking class. As someone who will be 30 this year and struggles with the easiest recipes I truly appreciate these.
I’ll never not love long form content.. I work 60-70 hours weekly.. take care of my kids etc.. at night when I wind down I still watch all my favorite UA-camrs… as long as you keep uploading you’ll always have my view. By the way I AM PROUD OF ME!

Again, can you do an adaptation or two of lasagna soup would really appreciate it. I have a couple that I do, but I would like to see your take on it. Mine changes, depending on what I’ve got on the fridge sometimes. Sometimes I use beef. Sometimes I use sausage. I have even used a diced up pepperoni. Because I do make pepperoni lasagna, you know. It was delicious, but I would really like to see your take on lasagna soup.

I am doing a full week of using your recipes for dinners... WOW this was SO nice following along with in real time! I felt so much more relaxed since I didn't feel pressure with timing, i.e., "should this still be simmering??" My boyfriend and I both LOVED this recipe and also your fried shrimp tacos which I made yesterday. I always ask him how much he would spend on each dish if he was buying it at a restaurant-- the vodka pasta he said $22 and the shrimp tacos he said $39 LMAO we are clearly fans of your cooking!

Here’s a tip: salt your water after it’s boiling. It slows down the process of it coming to a boil, but it increases the boiling temperature of added after the water has already begun to boil

I followed along. Used red pepper flakes instead and I only had penne pasta. But it came out amazing! My husband is on his 3rd dish and my kids are asking for more! 😊
This looks yummy! I love the cook-along videos. It was suuuuper cold in Georgia for Christmas! It got down in the negatives with wind chill! My in-laws were down from Michigan and they were ticked because I told them a few years ago it was like 85° 🤣 they were hoping for that!
Loved the video and the follow alongs are so awesome. Only thing I didn’t love was whenever you would bang the spatula on the pan after mixing to get the sauce off. It was really loud with headphones watching the video

I had to pause this to tell you a little Italian trade secret.... When you're "chopping" basil for your dishes, you get SO MUCH MORE flavor if you rip it with your fingers instead of chopping it with your knife. It releases the oils better. ☺️🤌🏻
My absolute favorite pasta sauce. I wanted it one night so bad but I didn't have a jar of it. I made it myself no recipe! Not to far off from your recipe. That makes me feel like a badass cook! 😎

So quick solution to throwing the rest of the can of tomato paste away they make can covers to reseal them, we got them at Publix would help you save the cans when they don’t have the tubes. Edit will be trying this recipe soon looks amazing, love the work love the videos.

Thanks for this! I don't drink, and it seems wasteful to buy a bottle of alcohol just for this, so I've always just omitted it entirely, but it obviously doesn't taste quite the same.

Just a thought but why don’t you put the water to boil on a farther burner. I get it’s because of the angle of the camera but to save yourself and your fingers it’s not close to the other pan.

don't throw away tomato paste left in the can. scoop it by the tbs onto wax paper and freeze. you can then take it out a tbs at time for use. just saying
