Starset, in my opinion, is the most interesting and unique band in the music scene. They have 2 novels, a Marvel graphic novel, all of which was inspired by the vocalists' background in engineering and space. Their debut album "Transmissions," released in 2014, paved the way for many newer bands. As for their music, they fuse symphonic, electronic, and hard rock/metal elements to create a sound they like to label as "cinematic rock." I'd recommend checking out Ricochet, which captures the Starset sound and showcases Dustin Bates' vocal range. Awesome reaction, by the way :)
You should read the books if you enjoy the visuals. Dustin wrote two novels built on their fictional lore. The Prox Transmissions sets the stage, and A Brief History of the Future shows the full horror of where we're headed dividing the county into factions, practically like North and South Korea, only it's labeled as the New East and the New West. Really wild stuff. Can't wait for the graphic novel coming out in November from Sleep Token called Teeth of God (already pre-ordered it)
Starset is an amazing band. Definitely worth doing the Sleep Token journey! “My Demons” would be another great one to react to!

It's more of a low tuned Growl
He does Growl/Scream in a few of his songs
