Having listened to the original version of this song, I believe this is plenty heavy. It sounds incredible! This has to be one of the best mashups between bands i've heard in a long time.
I've been the biggest fan of Starset ever since their release of their first album, Transmissions. they're the one band where almost every single song are songs like I love, but they are also something that hits me very personally and emotionally. this song in particular really hits me when I'm feeling lost in life and just wanting to lie down under the pressure and give up, just for the chorus to scream "get up and keep fighting" when they say I won't live life in the rain waiting on the sky to change. such an incredible song and an even more so incredible band
If you listen to the breakdown more carefully, you could hear Dustin screaming his ass off in the back its very tuned down though behind the rest of the vocals, wish it was more up front and center because those screams are INSANE
I knew I heard this song years ago just by the name of the song by Downplay and what a band they are aswell but this version of the song is so fucking amazing. I hope they do more of this with Downplay with a few more epic songs like Save Me and The One Who Laughs Last. Digging it out would sound phenomenal in Ben's vocals aswell.
Tauri your always do amazing jobs on your reactions but I been a big fan of starset since 2018 an love there music an songs l been wanting to see them live too but haven’t yet I have seen some UA-cam live shows of there’s an they do put on an incredible show but I love them but this was an amazing collab them an my favorite band growing up in my teen years besides linkin park was breaking Benjamin I absolutely have always love them too Tauri
Or you could say the show was otherworldly. Anyway I went to AZ live and My friend wen to SC live. Amazing show I went to vip also. Both red and starset where amazing.
@@brandontalley4288 ok there Mr White Knight, there isn't some divide on UA-cam that divides breakdown and reaction channels. Reaction can easily mean lyric reaction. I could venture a guess as to why she doesn't ever discuss lyrics and meaning but it wouldn't be very nice.
