I’m 53 and I just started hear the name Nipsey Hussle within the last few months, but I didn’t know anything about him. I thought it was cool that he got his name from comedian Nipsey Russell.
Then I heard part of an interview he gave on The Breakfast Club. I liked his style and said I wanted to listen to the whole interview later. Later never came. Then I heard of his senseless murder. After hearing how everyone felt about him and as I learned about him, his LIFE and THOUGHTS have meant a lot to me. This interview was well done. Teachable gems throughout.
I hope his death will not be in vain. I hope these young brothers out here will listen and use his blueprint to guide their lives in a better direction. He was a real leader and role model. An INSPIRATION to those he touched. RIP young man

It’s more than rare for a person to embody greatness in every way visible to man. He understood that the way we understand high end part due to the way we are instructed to perceive, the variable factor that separates him from all before him is that he was not only vocal with truth he was in control of his own agenda which was an agenda for the people... the not so attractive, not so well spoken.... so his speech was from a credible source on every level my wish in this tragedy is that if anyone died it was only his stage name... hopefully he is safe with his family and those that can protect his energy... it’s a shame that the world elects to crucify god every time he shows himself in the physical form

I am not going to pretend that I was a Nipsey fan prior to his death. In fact, I assumed he was another "no name" rapper and wondered why Lauren, with her flawless beauty and income, would choose him. I have to admit, Nipsey humbled the fuck out of me. I watched his first interview and was literally humbled by his intelligence, his energy that oozes positivity, motivation, masculinity, confidence, humility, and dominance while still being approachable, loving, genuine, nonjudgmental and so many other admirable qualities. When I finally listened to a song of his for the first time, "Stucc In My Grind", I actually teared up for this man. He really was something unique. I listened to the entire Victory Lap album and immediately felt an overwhelming loss as if I knew him personally. This man truly deserves all the praise he has received and I genuinely hope that his energy and influence continue to inspire his listeners and promote change and growth within our communities.
