Nipsey you deserved that grammy not Cardi B. You are the winner.
Facts, she only won because they needed the ratings and she was the popular one also part of me thinks it was them getting back at Nicki idk how a performer who didnt write her own songs can win a grammy but i digress
Cardi B is a piece of gutter trash
Agree... shyt Don't Make Sense
None of yall said that before he died tho
@@supremevictory4310 I definitely did
Nipsey Hussle wasn't a gangsta. That man was a MOVEMENT!
If only Eric could have seen this maybe he would have changed his mind. Instead he let greed and the PD dept. trick his stupid ass into agreeing to do the unthinkable.

This video is heartbreaking. To see Nipsey talk so profoundly about his maturation and recognizing the pitfalls of violence, then be gunned down in the midst of living his life as a powerful man. Tragedy of the highest level.
RIGHT!!
Thanks for your sentiments.

Did you meet him yourself? His death was such a HUGE loss for humanity. He was truly trying to change things in the hood and change the way of thinking that plagues those in poverty
“You looking for yourself, just on the other side of town”

@@060kingdrive9 Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, The point is many people are now learning, and that is a good thing. Even this can promote change. We don't need to be rude or judgemental to others though..I think this would be against Nipseys way of treating people... Right?
I think he a clone of pac and snoop dogg. He really was a talented man
Nip’s death hit hard. A wise man, a father, and a businessman who believed in educating his people. 💙
Let’s take a look back at Nipsey’s life .He came from an African American and and African lineage .He embraced his african roots and talked about how his trip to Africa pretty much started shaping his whole perception about life .(Meanwhile some Africans don’t even want to admit they are from Africa after they make it out of there ) .
He grew up in a neighborhood where all odds were against him but he overcame and gave back .He could have taken a record deal, settled for some money and gotten himself and his family out of the hood but he was selfless and a man of his words so he worked hard to build his own record label /businesses (The Marathon) and started making an impact in his community and even tho he didn’t have the fame like most of these rappers ,he still kept going because he wasn’t doing it for himself .
He released just one album after all these years of hustling and titled it “victory lap” .It’s like he almost knew it was going to be his only album after all these years of running his marathon. All these years he has been living and teaching us through his music and interviews but most of us wasn’t paying attention and I bet if he wasn’t taken from us the way he was (which is senseless) it might not have hit us the way it’s hitting us now and making us pay attention the way we all are now . Looking back I’m starting to believe this was his true purpose in life .Now it’s up to us to continue the marathon and bring to life more Ermias (God will rise /uplift ), Joseph (betrayed by a brother) Asghedom AkA Nipsey Hussle . THE MARATHON CONTINUES .
Empower one another and let us step into our greatness collectively just like how he wanted it .
( P.S I usually don’t comment on social media or listen to rap music anymore so when I got the notification on my phone about his death , I thought to myself ohh another rapper has been killed (which is what the conditioning of this world does to us and lesson learned)but later saw more post of him and the DR. Sebi after work and then his interviews and I started paying attention and started hitting me as if he was an immediate family and I haven’t been the same since he passed .Its been 10 days and I’m still stuck with everything Nipsey hussle . He was too real for the world we live in now )
You truly are “THA GREAT “ !!!!!
Well stated!!!! Well stated!
too pure and too good for the celebrity game
Nana Agye you wrote how I feel....He is The GOAT....He created his own wealth through his music...a life that he spoke about in his music....I know one thing to be true...He is a true Legend. I have never grieved another celebrity like I did Nip. I felt something soooooooo different. One thing for sure that I am positive of and have experienced is that his energy (spirit) is so strong and heavy....He emptied himself out. Although I never met him, I feel like I knew him....What an EXTRAORDINARY MAN....GENUINE AND HEARTFELT INDIVIDUAL....THE MARATHON CONTINUES....IT HAS TOO...HE WON'T LEAVE US ALONE...ESPECIALLY THOSE OF US WHO PAID ATTENTION...PICK UP THE BATON AND RUN ON...RIP NIP....WE LOVE YOU...

*Well stated* You are right. All of us have a true purpose. We just need to reach for it, apply it, and share it as to teach another so that each individual marathon continues, thus, building a better world. When I am standing in line at a store, library, ect.: It doesn't matter if I don't know that person next to me. I have no problems to look at them, smile, and say "How are you?" 99 percent of the time, it's a smile returned, and so many times a person would actually say what's bothering them (hot outside, line too long, etc.). Just continue the marathon in *your* positive, beautiful way folks. God bless

It's sad how there are so many almost Nipsey Hussles out here, but because they aren't famous or don't rap. No one takes them serious. In other words, appreciate that Nip near you. The one in your family, in your neighborhood... but to Hussles credit, he made his lane regardless

oridniv GRAND!!!!!!!! Very much so he was great man great brother
oridniv Sis I’m feeling the same way sitting here watching this and asking why. He had so much more to contribute and he hadn’t really got started. Envy and jealousy took him away all because a individual didn’t want to take the time to better themselves and didn’t want the reminder of who they really were😥😥😥
right he not a better rapper than some of the names ebro brought up but he probably do more for his community than Jay z and he dont have a deal who do that he basically split like 60 40 of his bread to take care of his good and only people of the hood get the jobs

Don't care who doesn't agree with this, but we as an African American society who loved and supported him fully, still failed this man. Real Talk.
I surely hope we learned from this in a major way. Everyone can wish the best through Social media, but until we stand up and carry his legacy, and his family up on our shoulders, we haven't learned anything.
We failed to protect his level of intelligence, influence, and his amazing body of work.
The way he carried himself with such passion and purpose, especially FOR US, and the edification of his community and his people, was nothing short of incredible. It Hurts deeply man, Real Deep.

Yo.. did this dude just bring up the Maslow Hierarchy of needs? Whoa. To understand the vulnerabilities of people at a scientific level is mad impressive. Especially when you are trying to correct them. Salute sir. The Marathon WILL continue.
Michael Baker what is it?
@@riffraff1880 Its a psychology model that explains the hierarchy of an individuals needs. I use it as a marketing guide to define what customers' needs need met. But it can also be used as a roadmap for selffufilment.
It ranges from the foundational basic needs (food, water, shelter), and graduates to the pennical of more complex, self fulfillment, needs (self-actualization). The theory is that one cant get to fulfilling the more complex needs without addressing the basic needs. This may summarize why some poor environments produce people that are stuck in survival mode, never developing, or tapping into, the pennical of their potential.
Michael Baker love it. Makes perfect sense. He was one interesting and enlightened individual wasn’t he?
Exactly!!
@@riffraff1880 Maslow was a psychologist who said we humans spend our lives trying to advance through 5 levels of need. Satisfying basic physical needs is first and foremost. Once we're straight on that front, we move on to the next level and then the next level, etc..

Love his interviews... so knowledgeable and mad truth.. his conversation is real .. the way he dissect topics and the analogies he use.. he speaking psychology (Maslow) and street knowledge.. this brother was definitely rare, and we were just seeing a glimmer of his greatness to come, when you watch his different interviews you can see the growth & change that evolved in him ..Dope💙🏁
I’ve been on Nipsey since Marathon, and I’ve listened to every album continuously since Sunday. I’m enlightened by his spirit and wisdom, and I’m 48 years old. It just goes to show, you can learn something from anyone is you LISTEN! I love you Hussle The Great!
Marcus you are so right brotha, he inspired me and I'm 50. This young Man was deep and he will be missed ...no doubt. Peace
the real one
Same here bruh.....Marathon got me too......Rip Hussle
Remember when he said how Og's soaking up game/listening to his every word? Something like that he says in one of his songs. So I overstand WHY at any age he is relatable. He holds genuine Wisdom & didn't mind sharing vital OUTFORMATION & Economic strategies & positive moves & plans...his Spirit is simply Beautiful, in & out.
I can't believe I actually saw him randomly about 10 yrs ago at a restaurant... I saw him and his friends seated right next to me so I acknowledged him and he shook my hand. That was that but I've been thinking about it a lot lately since he passed away. Like as if it were meant to be a profound moment of my life. R.I.P. Nipsey. You will be missed.
Wow thank you for sharing. Do you feel like it has been profound for you and in what ways?
Yeah i met him once at the beach. And he shook my hand too.
