- Police in Maryland say they stopped a teenager who was planning a school shooting in the days ahead. An 18-year-old student was arrested and charged after authorities reviewed the teen's writings and internet searches. Nicole Sganga reports on what led authorities to the suspect.

Alex Ye may not own a single gun but it is abhorrently easy to get one on short notice legally and illegally . The people who who bullied Alex Ye can thank themselves for causing that . Seems more and more people are being born that would rather hurt others than show kindness and/or understanding . People that the world doesn't need. I don't weep when bullies meet a nasty fate because they are the ones who bring it on themselves.

So you have to isolate the one factor in this that fits your narrative. I agree we should keep LGBT matters away from kids but let's not pretend this is because this kid used male and female pronouns.

There was a time when mental illness was acknowledged and treated. Today one is often labeled "phobic" for pointing out aberrant behavior.
This didn't happen because he was using male and female pronouns. This is obviously the result of a very troubled kid who didn't get the help he needed.
Dan Brown writes in a similar fashion. Close to reality.
