I wonder if you could do this while having with a chassis that has both Honeywell C200 CPM & IOM in it as well as Ab Enet and IOMs.... Not saying its a good idea but now I am curious.
Could this exact scenario be done with the Studio 5000 Lite edition? Like can you control the I/O modules on the. ControlLogix chassis even thought 5000 Lite can’t program ControlLogix PLC’s?
Hi Tim, I had a question. What is the maximum number of digital I/O that can be interfaced to one ControlLogix processor? also What is the maximum number of analog I/O that can be interfaced to one ControlLogix processor?
Sir kindly give me a suggestion for seimens S7-1500 plc and allen bradley power flex 525 driver is can make communication delay or any disadvantages compare to g120.
You're doing such a great job with the PLC tutorial Tim. Question to the expert: One of the I/O Ethernet seemed to got corrupted. The whole ADC project was working fine but all of a sudden, I think, one of the Ethernet modules shows like " Box_Opener". If I try to delete it I get an error pop up saying: "Failed to delete module 'Box_Opener'. Invalid consume producer. Module is not a valid producer." Could you help me tackling this problem? I'm using Studio 5000 on a Windows 10. I appreciate your help.
Tim, I called Rockwell and they helped me out. I would like to share the solution with your audience, my 2 cents, they suggested to update Logix Designer from 30.00.00 to 30.02.02 which has many patches and updates, and IT WORKED!!!! Thanks.
Great video! Thanks for putting in all the work to help get more people involved in our Industry! 🙏
It's our pleasure, thanks for watching!
Thanks Tim, very cool and powerful!
You are welcome Randy.
Thank you for the good video.
You are welcome
Thanks a million...It would be great if you could do a video on how the green light is true in the logic even when there is no ENBT communication...

You can add Ethernet modules with Studio 5000 Lite also.

Hi Rollin, this link will help.

Ficou top como uma cpu que e demais posso controlar vários rack com Ethernet ,a longas distância, a controlnet ficou obsoleto?
Question: Can the ControLogic Processor be removed and with the power supply still in place use the Backplane as a RIO?
Yes, a Controllogix chassis doesn't need a processor. Lots of times we use them as networking bridges, most popularly Ethernet to DH+
@@TimWilborne Thank you Tim… (@_@)
It is a great video. not sure if you need 1756 cpu in his chassis when you did this test?
No, you don't.
@@TimWilborne Thank you so much

Any tips I could get on changing a 1756-l62 to a 1756-l72?
Right click the controller at the top of the left pane and select properties, then on the general tab, select Change Controller.

Forgot to mentioned that the "unknown" device is another PLC that I'm able to confirm is up and running in the same local network.
Haven't run into that Hector but Rockwell knowledgebase ID QA28431 seems to be what you are looking for.

@@hectorvaldez8471 Very good to know, thanks for sharing!
Did you connect 1756, 1769 and your computer to the switch?
Yes, it must all be on the same network.
@@TimWilborne Thank you so much. Would you mind posting the switch P/N and manufacturer name?
Any basic Ethernet switch will do

You are welcome.
You opened a new project not a new program!
Oh that is life-changing. I don't know what I would do without smart people like you to tell me everything I do wrong 😂
👏👏👏👏👏👏🤝
