    Now you have a good inverter. Been running them for years with No problems in my camper trailer and Ute. You should have got a bigger unit if you wanted to run more than, 2000W. You're not going to blow it up. Very well protected unit.

      its a nice inverter indeed! love seeing the engineering as these get batter and better!

    Thank you. I was shocked it stopped at only a little over 2,000W so i checked the spec, it supposed to be able to handle up to 2200W peak so in my mind, you really only get the continuous wattage rating of 2000W. Your vid confirms that too.

      it was fused for 2200w inside, I'm guessing thats that rating.

    I was considering buying a Giandel inverter to replace my blown up (UN)Reliable unit, but they do not make any 24 volt models. That was one about Reliable. You could just about choose any input voltage you want!

      what wattage was your reliable ? and giandel does make 24v but no higher voltage is available.

      @curtchase3730 3000w was there best inverter. 3500w I think is a over rated 3000w :(

      @@GoingOffGrid101 Probably true. The giant sticker on the cover does say 3500 watts and I did pay a bit more for it than the 3000 watt unit. BTW, my unit seldom saw loads of over 1000 watts continuous! It just quietly died.

    wondering if it can power gas furnace, or if it is safe to connect neutral to ground/case required by most gas furnace w/o blowing the inverter(most cheap inverter will in such setup). No such information from Amazon product page

    The top cover display is nice along with the wired remote & multiple plug ins. Three Beefy 800 watt transformers & the entire case is the heatsink. The only thing I didn't see was if if had any internal fuses.

    16mm² is approx 5 AWG.
    Doubling up cables reduces AWG size by 3, so 2 x 16mm² = 2 AWG

    Why don’t you use the a/c terminal on the inverter? You aren’t going to get enough amps to run all of those appliances without it.

    How can I make solar system and power bank at Nissan Leaf??!!🤔 🤔 ⁉️ ⁉️

    • @GoingOffGrid101
      @GoingOffGrid101  3 місяці тому +1

      you can hook up a inverter to your 12v battery on the leaf and leave the car running and it will charge the 12v battery at 70 amps, this way you can use up to 500w with your inverter.

    You got to get some thicker wires between your batteries so you have less of a voltage drop. that or your batteries are actually falling flat on their face.

    Microwave isn't even a practical device on the grid. I've been using a toaster oven for years. It only takes a little longer and the results are 10x better. Microwaves are literally good for nothing but maybe shortening the life span
