SOLD / these guys have been around forever, and they have a fantastic reputation as you stated. Doing a Google search or a UA-cam review search you will find more positive reviews on their units more than anybody else or any other brand out there in this price range.

Do you have a window in your garage? If so you should use your 5000btu AC as a partial load draw (those run around 470w) and make up the rest with the heat gun. You are cooking yourself alive in there😅

Hi. Great video. What amp fuses and gauge wires are you using between the positive and negative from battery to inverter? Thank you

Great video - we are new to solar - 2 12V 100ah LiTime batteries set parallel 100a BMS in each. The battery you’re using has 100a BMS - how were you able to get 1595 watts without it shutting down? We were hoping to run our microwave. Input power is 1550 watts with calculations, it’s over our BMS. What are we missing? Thanks

I typically get a little more than what these batteries are rated at I have found. I do t recommend pushing much beyond the rated max discharge rate though.

New to battery testing so apologize for the dunce question. Are you utilizing two shunts? If so why?

These do not seem to be N-G bonded. If RV is not bonded as well, then RCD/GFCI will not work. Can you confirm?

I have same inverter 2 100 solar panels 40 Amp epever charger and 230ah Litime battery. How long would the system run a freezer over night. Freezer pulls 400 start up 230 to 200 until t shuts off. Any formula are help without physical stay up alight. Hw low can the battery get before the inverter shuts off. Tyi for a y help.

Hi Brian, I just purchased a similar Giandel which has a solar controller. Do you know if I can add portable solar panels to this? I already have solar panels on my RV which are connected to an onboard charger. My previous inverter seemed to drain my batteries faster than the onboard solar could replace. My thought is just to supplement the onboard battery/solar output. Thanks,

I don’t follow. Are you asking if you can hook up solar panels directly to an inverter??

@@GearGadgetReviews this particular one. The description says it has a solar controller

I dont see that, but, no. You cannot connect solar panels to an inverter. You need a charge controller between the batteries and the solar panels.

@GearGadgetReviews hmm this inverter has a charge controller. Manual says to connect solar to inverter. I will try and include a picture of this section.
      SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLER
      1. Firstly connect the battery correctly, switch to the correct battery types(Lead
      Acid or GEL)
      2. Connect the battery to inverter properly and connect the solar input to solar
      panel correspondingly
      3. The voltage indicators will show battery charging status only while the solar
      panel is charging the battery.
      4. There is overcharge protection design with the controller, it will stop charging
automatically while the battery is fully charged and restart to charge while
battery voltage less than 12.5V-+/-0.5VDC (15v+/-1VDC)
      5. There is a built-in 20A solar charge controller , please connect to 300W
(600Watt for 24V version) solar panel at max

    • @GearGadgetReviews
      @GearGadgetReviews  9 місяців тому

Depends on the size and how much power it draws when compressor starts up. For most modern / standard size fridges, yes. This would run it

Dude, that Giandel inverter uses the most unreliable, poorest performing, inverter technology on the market.
